I visited Moldova in October 2023. The capital of Moldova has modern comfortable hotels, but I chose the historical Chisinau Hotel to remember my Soviet childhood.
Everything turned out to be not so bad. The rooms have hot water if you open the tap and wait 5-10 minutes. The hotel provides a mini breakfast.
