Great introduction. There have been some amazing synth players over the years putting all of these techniques into practice. But if you're looking for a modern day example of synth shredding with on-the-fly, real-time filter and envelope manipulation goodness, you can't go past Eli Winderman of Dopapod and Octave Cat. Maestro of the modern synth. Do yourself a favour.
