Sarah! To me, the most important thing that happen in the first half is that Twilight told Yor something personal, real, about himself. He told her about his mother, and that memory most be a treasure to him, something that never share with someone, something outside of his spy persona... That is telling so much about his developting feeling for her, because we know he can use the "honey trap", he can be romantic-sexual with people without mingle feelings in there... For that, to me, is more important that Twilight open up a little bit of him to her. That is HUGE for Twilight.
Anya and Becky are so adorable. I like the little tidbit at the end that they forgot why they had gone shopping in the first place, but Damien still fell harder in love with Anya’s happy face than anything she could wear.
Poor kid stands no chance~.

This is arguably almost as major as admitting he is developing feelings for Yor (something that admittedly he is likely still a long way from accepting, as he still dismisses it as Yor "throwing him off somehow" or him dropping his guard).

The second part of this episode is a great example for what I love so much about this show.
Anya can be so adorable and her interaction with Becky (or Damian) always creates the funniest stories 😂
I don't know what it is about Becky and Anya's friendship, but they depict it in such an innocent, silly, wild and just genuine way in the show and it always gets me in my feels, especially this episode! Just seeing Becky worried Anya didn't enjoy the shopping, how she was so genuinely happy when Anya called her her friend and gave her the keychain, the scenes of an even younger Becky and Martha now being relieved and glad Becky found a friend and is really happy now, idk, I sure as hell had to hold back tears haha
Anyways, I really appreciate Becky and love how her and Anya have this close friendship and are allowed to just fool around and be kids, it's very wholesome and I'm here for it ^w^ (Damian was cute at the end there too haha, Anya can catch his eye even without any fancy clothes)
Hearing Yor shout "God Damn!" was one of the best things I heard in a while hahaha
10:38 notice how everytime Twilight tries to pull out his past experiences with ladies, to sweet talk, kiss Yor, he gets rejected..?
One time is when yuri visits, and the other time is in this episode...
I feel like the show doesn't let Twilight's "easy tricks with ladies" work on Yor...which i think is good for them both...
I'd like to have them to get to know each other better, get to know how the person really is under that disguise.. i think they eventually will be together after many more moments like this 13:46
On a side note tho, the story background of Spy Family is really cruel and serious, we sometimes get fooled by the comedic funny moments, but there's some serious conflicts going on in the story..... It would be really interesting to see how everything eventually evolves...
21:10 Remember Anya is aiming for Plan B, i.e. becoming close to Damian so that she can get invited to his house (and have Loid accompany her). That way they can bypass the Eden social gathering (though a problem with Plan B is that Desmond is rarely home it seems).
It’s so funny how Loid knows both everything and nothing about women or children, sharing a heartwarming moment from his childhood on the bench but couldn’t tell she was jealous of another woman, that’s why I love this show. It wasn’t a lamp post but I have run into things I definitely don’t need to while wearing my glasses so I can’t even play the “blind” card. 🙃
Like how things progress in Japanese culture, their relationship will also progress at a snail’s pace, allowing for no room for doubt when they finally acknowledge it. That’s what I am hoping for!
"One quick swig of alcohol" 😂 Yor downed a nearly full bottle of whiskey. If anything its amazing she didn't hurl or have the worst hangover ever seeing how she gets drunk from a glass of vine normally.

I will say, with as lightweight as we know Yor to be, I'm surprised she was as coherent as she was after chugging her own drink in one gulp, and then taking Loid's entire bottle and chugging an undisclosed amount of that immediately afterward 😂

Yor didn't just havea swig, she drank the whole bottle in seconds. Twilight said it was possibly lethal amounts.

The plan is that if she is friend with Demian, he can invite her to his house, and that way initiate the conection between Twilight and Demian`s father, because they can meet like: Ah, you are the father of... Have a personal life opening to him.
Becky is a little very wealthy girl, so, of course she things that money can resolve things with Demian...
Even with how quick a bottle of alcohol hits Yor, she downed a liter of Scotch in half a second. Even with her monstrous metabolism, it is a wonder she isn't dead.
I want to suggest the sweetest, wholesomest, just overall superb but simple anime ever: Usagi Drop. You don't even need to react to it - I don't think it's a popular anime - but please watch it. It is such a well done story on family and connections and so on and so forth.
I know I know!! Yes, its really frustating but its also very funny.

As hard as it is to believe that Loid/Twilight doesn't realize how he feels for Yor is...when you learn his backstory and just everything he's gone through, him being as emotionally dense as a poundcake topped wit a brick makes an unforunate amount of sense; same with Fiona/Nightfall to an extent; the girls would have to literally spell it out for him to get it and even then, I doubt he'd fully understand or accept it, and, not to be too spoiler-y, I think it's mostly because he feels he's undeserving of it or that its just something he can never truly have, hence the term 'Honey Trap', its not just for the women, its him too, cause he's getting a little taste of what he knows/thinks he can't have

Great reaction as always, once Spy x Family is done I'd highly recommend checking out the series with the second most precious cinnamon roll character after Anya, Ms. Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, which has the Kanna, whose best friend Saikawa is actually played by the same VA as Becky. It's amazing how similar they are in their devotion to their friends. Dragon Maid is another "found family" series and is really heart warming and wholesome.
I ship Martha and Master Henderson and I'm not apologizing for it.
