Hey, are any pennies with split plating around the numbers, letters & building valuable at all? They have the appearance of a double die, but are not considered a valuable variable by coin collectors. What do you think? Split plating meaning the letters and numbers are mirrored by some of the exposed zinc because the copper plating had air trapped inside, and over time fell apart leaving the exposed silver zinc making it look like a double die. I've seen some coins that have both, a light double die and split plating. .
I have a 1958d looks brand new It looks like a zink penny but it has Half copper and zink and it don't stick to a magnet could u tell me who do I talk to to get it looked at

I would like to know if you can tell me about a 1963 PENNY THAT WEIGHTS 3.1 grams and sticks to a magnet. Also i have a 2000 penny that weights 2.5 grams and also sticks to a magnet do you know anything about them?
I have a bank wrapped penny roll (I believe around 2015) with partial missing copper plating roll ender. I kept it unopened all these years thinking it may add to value.
I agree with the reverse design needing an update. Or simply making pennies obsolete at this point. Because I'm also not a huge fan of the zinc either. But just my opinion. 🤷🤷😀😀
Fairly new to your show. I've been off and on for a couple of years. I think I may have an 2018 Minnesota state coin that is missing the detail on obverse and reverse side . Supposed to be duck on a lake but all the detail in not present. Everything else is. It's in bad shape definitely circulated. Have you seen or heard of such errors.
PCGS your not going to get ripped off, this is a number one grading company and they are very honest. To ease your mind, take pictures of any mint marks or bags marks, it's best to take pics with your p/c & microscope. Hope this helps

My 1994 - 1996 Lincoln Pennies have nearly all DDs. And so do all of my Pennies from 2012.
Recently found a dime with the Lincoln memorial over Roosevelt's face. Kinda curious about it.
