Dude I was at vancouver first night n every Fibre of my being was wanting release as the opening song....point goes to Portland..never the less let it be said..for 34 yrs they are the greatest live band to ever hit a stage
I love my dad so much this song is gonna hurt so much if he leaves this earth . Edit: my dad’s father died when he was only a toddler and never got to meet him or grow up and learn from a father on how to be a good man etc. my dad has done a beautiful job on raising me and my two older siblings. Couldn’t ask for a better man to be a better father. My dad IS the best. So my dad and Eddie kind of have the same type of story. Except Eddie’s is different cuz of who he thought was raising him was his dad but in reality was not his real dad :(.
@@62drumr i know that’s something that you never get over. Have you healed from a it in any way? How do you cope with your loss as you move forward? It’s none of my business and you do not have to answer any of it. I do apologize if I got personal with it
@@PoppinSmoke223 you don’t get over it. As time passes by the hurt somewhat diminishes. I mention my dad every day in conversation. You keep their spirit alive by remembering them and talking about how they impacted your life. My mom was just diagnosed with melanoma and I have been crying since. I do not want to be an orphan with both my parents gone from this life. Praying the melanoma is contained and not spread….. Cherish all moments with your loved ones!!!
For my money nothing tops Release as the opener. Seen it as the opener twice and it's always special.
Especially Release into Low Light and Nothingman 🎉
Praying I hear this song live (for the first time).

Mine left 5/18/19. Brings me to chills. Miss my dad ♾️
Mine left in 2011. This song was how I first introduced PJ to my dad. I was at this show last night and I bawled my eyes out at this opener.
My Dear Dad passed away late June 2011. Fifty weeks later, my Mom. June is so bittersweet now. Evocative song from the Mighty Pearl Jam❤
