Awesome. Planning to do a web comic scrolling sideway, down and up. 3 questions before I start, Can it also scroll back up? can you put animated gifs and can you scroll with the mouse rather than clicking arrows?
Awesome Video. I learned a lot in 12 minutes. However, I wonder if this is going to be mobile responsive. like how the image will crop on the background. ofcourse Gutenberg Rows are going to be responsive.
Yes it will be mobile responsive: you need to choose and think what option is best for you. These options are for now disposable: webyxforgutenberg.com/#background-image
This is so cool - I have just decided to create my entire website going horizontally! However, I wish it can slide horizontally when a person scrolls naturally instead of looking for the slider arrow. That's a bummer. Also, I want this to work with Elelementor, so I will go for that option.
Hi Jamie - what software are you using for your screenrecordings (like your mouse, magnifier and coloring out the outside of the page). Thanks, Bernhard
Interesting. Thank you. I'm stuck on a WPBakery theme (I know or believe something similar can be achieved within Elementor), and I really want to use this kind of effect. Is it possible, do you know, to use Gutenberg to build a page, but then insert this page into an existing WPBakery-built page, maybe by raw HTML? I couldn't find a plugin for WPBakery that allows this effect.
You can activate the "mouse wheel" option in the Navigation Mouse Wheel side menu to vertical slide using the mouse wheel. That is in the free version. The "mixed" movement via mouse wheel that we called "horizontal scrolling" will be present in the pro version. Try it and see if that is what you were looking for. Otherwise thank you for your time the same, we hope others will see the work and value behind a plugin like this 🙂
@@MarkConstable Yes all good stuff should be free :). Seriously if you want decent stuff you have to pay for it. It's the way the whole system is built and personally I don't mind paying if it's useful, doesn't break lots of things and is constantly under development.
Do you know of any way to do in an Elementor page build Jamie? We just need the 4th out of 5 sections horizontally panning a very wide image then drops into contact section
This is awesome! Thank you again, Jamie, :) Would this plugin work in FSE? At least is not working for me, that is, no scrolling. I follow exactly the instructions but does not work!
Hi Maria, a few questions (and answers) 1) Are you creating the blocks in a normal page i.e not in a template 2) Horizontal scrolling on mouse is only going to be available in the pro version apparently
@@jamiewp Thank you for your reply. 1. Yes, I am creating them in a normal page! 2. The navigation arrows are not showing up at all. I even gave some horrible color to highlight in case I couldn't see them etc. Nope! Not working. I also tested in two more WordPress local websites. Maybe is not my day today! Thank you! I will try to figure it out later!
We wrote with Maria and we discovered that the lack of navigation arrows was due to the fact that she was using a touch screen system. Webyx predicts that arrows don't exist on mobile but it uses touch only... for now (we will implement the hybrid situation in the future).
Very impressive. Thanks yet again for the heads-up, Jamie. After I get reliable transparent and fixed navigation to work, and individual animated grouped blocks, then this will allow me to achieve some cool next level animated page affects... assuming the required Javascript does not add too much bloat.
@@nicolemarie5892 Not yet. I'm still stuck on getting rid of the 48px page wide padding at the top of the default TT3 theme. I'm nowhere near adding any custom JS yet.

Hi, after a careful investigation it emerged that there wasn’t any issue caused by the plugin itself. The error message was caused by the user’s host security rules in the ModSecurity tool. By whitelisting the rules that were triggering the exceptions the problem ceased to be. In addition to this, it is also possible to work on the plugin after disabling ModSecurity from Cpanel and turn it back on once you are done. Thank you and best regards.
