That looks amazing! Great idea and worth the work, in my opinion. Too bad you didn’t take this out in town around dusk. I love seeing the reaction your strange and fabulous creations get from the public.
It is prohibited in Russia. Similar situation with neon light under car.s There is rule now that your car must emit only red light from back and white in front(and orange blinkers). Of course you can do short ride and hope to not meet police.
*People that don't work on cars/bikes etc and modify them, will never understand the work that went into that 1 simple tire!... I've never done this but I've studed plenty of tires for racing, good job guys, damn good job!*
I could see that actually being handy. Light up red when you hit the brakes, and blink orange along with your turn signals. Huge and obvious is needed. lol
Not each led requires a resistor, you could use like 3/4/5 leds and 1 resistor. as long as you don't exceed 20mA, probably even better, you burn less energy for notting, each resistor converts current in heat. Awesome.
You could ALSO just Add glow in the dark materials in the stud holes and shine a single UV light at a small portion of the tire inside the wheel well... Less compromises for the wheel and simpler installation. :) Nice work tho!
These kinds of LEDs come in many shapes, sizes, colors, and even differnet types of blinking. Bllinking ones are usually 5mm, but you can also get LEDs in 3mm or 10mm. There are also diffused or clear, and different lens types, like straw hat, or round top, or rectangular...
a lot of work went into this working with all the wiring. interesting project like all the other projects u guys do, kudos guys that took a lot of tedious work.
Not going to lie... If you did this to all 4 tires and then only used them at car shows. Would be pretty sick! If you really wanted to get into it, put a Bluetooth controller in it and a wireless charger.
Try using fiber optic filaments drill holes thread into tires seal with liquid rubber place lights into the rims so they shine inside the rims to filaments illuminating the wheels the filaments will wear with the tires and still illuminate
you can use a cap light to wire into for the lights to turn on when moving it has a weight switch in it , I did the similar like that to a hub cap just wire into the light and when the wheel turns it turns on and put the a battery holder for the power in the center of the hub cap so it wouldn't unbalance the tire and you could of used one high amp resister to in stead of multi resisters that could cut bunch of time and cost or just simply use the right power for the LEDs wouldnt require no resisters or a mini regulator.
Hey grochocki for I want to say hey you guys are amazing still and you got big fans in America that love your garage you guys are awesome keep up the awesome material God bless you
When you hang it up on the wall, don't forget a little motor to make it slow turn! Or just leave it on bearings so you can spin it. But I'm sure somebody out there would pay some good money to have those to be Clowning Around
Yeah, pretty and sparkly. But, Garage 54 was created to much grander things! Garage 54 has yet to attempt a flying Lada. A Lada with a conventional wing, rear elevators, and rudder. Vlad and the crew need to learn all about center of gravity so that it will remain controllable when it lifts off and flies. First runs should be driven by the car's wheels and a shallow ramp to help it get airborne and glide for a distance. Once it's stable and controllable as a glider, THEN you disconnect the driveshaft from the rear axle and hook it up, Garage 54-style, to a pusher propeller that's mounted to the rear. A flying Lada would instantly drive views up to ONE MILLION and the new subscribers would get close to that.
I have an idea I was cutting an antler up for my dog the other day. I was taken aback by how hard the material is. It felt like I was cutting something between brass and steel It's also pretty light. What would happen if you were to use antler/bone as connecting rods?
How about a lada low rider with hydraulic suspension that can tip on 3 and jump. Or like e z e says in the song cruising in my 64. "I hit the juice on my ride ive got front and back and side to side. Or do a lada for swanging and banging it's a style out of Houston where they cruise while swanging. You can find both on you tube.
You guys are legit brain surgeons when it has anything to do with a vehicle I have watched you make things work that I just didn't think we're possible I'll put it this way when you guys made the ladacoptor I really thought you were gonna figure out a way to make it fly and I'm sure if there was any way to make it work u would have figured it out
On your next tire use a string of Christmas 🎄 tree lights you could even drill holes in the tire where you want lights then insert the lights in the Holes then use a sealer to seal and holes something like a liquid rubber sealant pour it in the tire I would place battreys evenly inside rechargeable battery's and a copper coil and diode to recharge the battery's just place a cell phone charging coil outside the tire to charge it up. A magnetic Reed switch inside could turn on and off the lights with a magnet placed on the tire rim. 🤔 balance the tire and you are ready to drive at Night 🌙
Video Idea: You guys should seal up a bell housing and run a wet clutch on a Lada! I would be interested to see if it takes more abuse than a factory clutch!
LED strips exist (i know it because i use 2 of them at home) these LED strips can be assembled together nearly without restriction (except for the power supply) and it's realy easy to connect those strips (just a small standardised plug). these LED strips are dimmable and you can change the color and make the LEDs strobe. Of course all of these LED are remote controlled (but expensive). Why don't use these LED strips?
because the LEDs in the strips are evenly spaced (the stud holes are not, for maximum traction), if cut they need to be soldered back together (negating the 'easiness' aspect) and they're not the tall bulb type that the guys wanted for this use case (because the tall bulbs will push through the original hole in the tire).
You guys never run out of ideas!
Also, what a BOATLOAD of soldering!
That looks amazing! Great idea and worth the work, in my opinion. Too bad you didn’t take this out in town around dusk. I love seeing the reaction your strange and fabulous creations get from the public.
Flashing red and blue lights on a car might be a bit much on a public road, even in Russia.
Yes I miss this as well. Question is regultation. Probobly if cops get you you gonna pay so much that you gonna turn green xD

One of the best wheel projects so far. Can't wait to see all 4.

That's a next level disco ball!! Think of the party in your garage, lights off and the spinning wheel !
Uncle Tony's channel sent me. And I'm glad he did! Again, much respect!
Thats actually a very cool idea for a parade or car show!
red and green ones for Christmas parades would be very cool
Wow, tacky as fvck. Opposite of "cool".
Next video idea, all 4 tyres fitted with LED lights, then drifting on white pearly snow
That deserves a place on the wall. Good work.
These are such a joy to watch!
one of your best ideas yet, looks amazing
Come on, now you need to do three more and show us how good it looks on the streets :)
That was very cool to watch on the car "under motion" ! Good job guys !!
It does look pretty sick. Don't know why we didn't translate it up until now.

Not as bright.

Yup another level of bling! With l.e.d’s & yup use colour changing l.e.d’s! Then would look dope!🙂🙂🙂

And he loves it when THE plan comes together.

I think you could get away with optical cable, would not be as bright, but would be much easier to make
I can totally appreciate the amount of work that went into it but for a more practical solution I would put a band of leds on the inside of the rim.
I think its time to combine all your transperant experiments into one car. That would be fun.
Try using fiber optic filaments drill holes thread into tires seal with liquid rubber place lights into the rims so they shine inside the rims to filaments illuminating the wheels the filaments will wear with the tires and still illuminate
You guys need to patent this, and add solution which uses motion of the wheels to charge up power storage.
I hoped that they would take it for a ride to get reactions from the people

Now do all four tires and take it drifting at night!
Wow nice light show you got there
that'd be pretty cool looking for a car show

6:41 that shit is sick it looks like its splashing I'm rainbow water
the best part is you got some room for them to wear down with the tires

Nice wall item for night time
That must have been real torture to make this, really wished to see a night ride
That could be pretty neat upgrade for your car tires in Need For Speed Underground 2.
Super nice as usual!!!!
You should do all 4 wheels like that and drive around city sort of video same car and get people's reactions and see how durable.
Next episode use Electro-luminescent wire to follow the tread pattern.
That is super duper awesome.
Very cool ! - Well done !
That's great!! Now do a burnout whit the LED's Please
pretty beautiful

Should've used LEDs in the plug wire episode.
Fiberoptic would of been way easier
Very cool and creative!
You could have used around 80 to 120V which is what LED tvs do: arrange them in 4 or 5 big series or leds. Of course oyu need circuit to step up.
Put remote for dynamic color changing finction and other operations .
That looks badass

Could also use LED strip lighting (5 volt) and cut a channel in the rubber.
No, that would fly off. Even at very low speeds it would start to stretch and get the lite beaten out of it.
I really like your videos. Could you please make a video of " Taurozzi Pendulum Engine". Thank you.

Where did they put the battery? I assume inside the tire but that would present balance issues. I'd like to see that car drive around at 100 kph.
I want to see an engine that you make run backwards
Where did you stash the battery? How do you turn it off?
