This was such a good movie! The characters were all fleshed out well, with their own motivations, virtues and vices. They weren't stupid either (unlike other zombie movie characters) and made smart decisions in spite of the pressure they faced. Super underrated movie.
The movie is very good. ♥️ Though I am annoyed to Fungi, I mean Fugui. 🤣 I like the attitude of Gousheng. He is a very good person despite not achieving many good things in life. He remains humble. I am a bit disappointed because Gousheng died. I am also rooting for the scene where Miss Huixin visits Dongzi’s wife and daughter, as she promised Gousheng before he died. I am rooting for Huixin and Xiaoyu to arrive at Lanshan base. What’s with the base, hmm? Lastly, I was thinking if Huixin will adopt Xiayu, and raise her to be a decent woman because Gousheng inspired her to be a good person (since I think Huixin has a dark secret). But it’s good that it has a different ending because let’s admit it, we are already used to happy endings. Some movies are becoming boring because the ending is always as it is. Haha. Watching from the Philippines. 🇵🇭
