Throwback to 2008. Had this playing on repeat in my bedroom for a few months. I’ll always love Augustana.
This song got me through my teenage years. 2007-2008 rough time, this song helped me so much. Listened On repeat. Wish it was on more than just RUclips. I can’t find it on Spotify.

When i first heard this song, i cried. It's way back 2013 i think. Now I'm listening to it again. And it's still makes me cry.

My highschool sweetheart showed me this song, I was very different back then, a hardheaded fool untill she came into my life and changed all that. We arent together anymore due to life's circumstances outside our control but we still hold each other close to our hearts and very much bestfriends.
When I listen to this song now, it takes me back to that first prom night when we danced first together. How precious those times are to me now.

the hardest thing is falling for a guy that has givin up on love and is so scared to put his heart on the line that he wont even chance it. He finally gave me the chance and now we are the happiest we have ever been. its true when they say that love comes when you arnt looking for it, and love is never inconvenient it happens when you need it and it stays with you forever. dont throw it away cause your scared cause the other person is just as scared as you are.
Discovered Augustana through Harry Styles a few years back and I loved them instantly. Their songs are something I always go back to when I feel a certain way
this song makes me sleep, but not out of boredom. it just relaxes me so much that i can rest from all the problems of the world :)

@monstermunch26 you are absolutely right. But you missed the important second reason: In the 90s, even the non-commercial music scene was all real music. Radiohead, Deftones, KoRn, Rage Against The Machine, 2pac Shakur, Notorious-BIG, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains.... And yes, Augustana would've been respected then. I listen to mostly hard music, but everytime I listen to Augustana, its hard for me not to feel their tenderness in my heart. GREAT BAND!
