I can't say yet, still early on mine. They are about the size of your big one and I think they are still growing. Mine are planted 2 ("6 apart in the middle), in a 10 gallon grow bag. Some I put 1 in a 10 gallon bag, to see if there are any differences at the end of season.. The bag helps drainage around the main root system and the roots become air prooned. This builds a nice root system. The roots will also go through the bottom of the bags and dig in. I didn't trellis mine, I just laid them 2 pots together and two more about 10 ft away (could have done 6 - 8ft but 10 does seem perfect) , laid burlap in 2 layers between the sets and train them to grow towards eachother. I have 2 lemon drops on one side and 2 yamato on the other and they grow towards eachother. The vines grow past eachother, helping make some leaf coverage. Hope some of this info helps.
Disclaimer - I have no idea what I'm doing. I did watch videos and made my own soil for it but in the end, I'm a noob.

I grew these last year among others and they were my favorite and most productive. All larger than yours and super yummy. And I don't get all that much sun. I do fertilize every three weeks with fish emulsion and Miracle Gro: 1 tbs MG with a 3 second pour of emulsion into a 5 gallon bucket of water then water with that as I normally would. I also use pantyhose to hold them on the trellis making a little hammock for them. I buy a pack of knee highs from Walmart, cut them, and reuse them since you can wash them. My favorite cantaloupes were the MN Midget, very productive and most yummy was the Kajari, all of which you can get from Baker Creek. I grow in 5 gallon buckets. One plant per pot (equal parts peat, Black Kow, and reused mix or bag of cheap potting soil plus a tbs each of bone meal, blood meal, and lyme). You can use all sorts of stuff to make a sturdy trellis. We have a reuse warehouse nearby so I made 5 ft electrical conduit trellises for about $5 each and hand made the netting using a door, video how to on RUclips. I also bought those white metal shelves for closets. cut of part of the bottom so it had stakes to go into the ground and my 5 gallon buckets each have their own trellis or else I grow on a cattle panel arch. I also drove around during trash day and got laundry racks, and other metal and wood objects that have worked well. Happy gardening!

They look pretty yummy! It’s probably the crazy weather that’s been going on everywhere in the country. I’m definitely going to try them in next year’s garden.

Hi! These were so fun to grow and produce so much fruit! I'm a minimalist gardener, so I don't do too much for my plants and these still produced great for me.

Awesome! Thank you! These were super fun to grow for us. I have some started this year, but they just aren't striving as we just have not been warm enough yet. I did see the forecast here, its going to start picking up tho, so they should start taking off soon! Good luck!
