That falling up air between 1:15-1:17 was such a nasty read… how tf did he know he would down tilt OUT OF ALL OF ROY’S FAST OPTIONS?? light was playing out of his mind in this set.
The answer is simple: he didn't know he'll DTilt. That was a Mixup situation, both of the players chose an option to which the other player couldn't react. Light Jumped bc he Ftilt ed Kola, and he was ready do catch him doing a panic option out of hitstun. Idk why Kola Ftilt ed tho... Anyways, Light saw the Whiffed DTilt and just punished it with an UpAir on reaction. At least that's how I see it
