You couldn't have picked a better recording to star with, excellent, & loved the reactions, & visual descriptions from you & your dad.
Respectfully, I call you sir, you are growing well, your dad & you can be proud.
i thank you
They eventually followed up with the album
Wish You Were Here
yes we wikl do some point
This is cool format, man. Nice vid!
One of the best albums of all time. Lyrics are intens, music otherworldly.
Cheers
Interesting perspectives! Love how genuine pops is
scott deserves the world get this man to the top of the charts
Loved this. What a great thing, a son and dad talking in some depth about music and life. Beautiful! Great album, too.
sure is!!
Loved the video and seeing both of your perspectives man! Definitely subscribing
Really enjoy this reaction, this band 28 or 29 years old where able to talk about darkness, money, time, war, illness and more...how more to say.
Love how he says it's depressing as soon as ACYL begins. The best and most underrated track on the entire record. Coming from a 60-year-old.
one of my favs
Its interesting: I always found it sounded cool but more like just a way to let the second big chunk of the album float out so the finale could start... but when i showed this album to a friend of mine, he immediately said that this was his favourite song and how much there is to find in it without any lyrics... and since I find this song soo outstanding and it opened my eyes. And on the other hand another friend who is a long tim pink floyd fan barely notices this song and doesnt find anything more than just a guy playing with a synthsizer... thats music
That was the most surprising reaction to Dark Side of the Moon I experienced yet. Pink Floyd is far away of party music. Pink Floyd is on one side very emotional music beside of intelligent text that matters. All that is matched extremely clever. And for me this kind of music is still the best music created since maybe Mozard and Bach. I know people that are skilled in music that hate Pink Floyd. Funny Enough I dislike exactly the music they like. They often like music that that does not touch my feelings and does not inspire my thoughts. Pink Floyd is doing exactly that. It touchs my feelings and inspires my thinking. Bring to the point: It makes me creative.
I completely agree with you
Listen on your own without breaks
It's your own experience every time you listen best music ever created 😊
Don't think about what the music is at all, my friend. Just enjoy the "VIBE" it brings to the heart & soul, cause that's what it is & what it's all about, ya dig? Keep On, Keeping On! +++Peace & Rock n' Roll 4 Your Souls+++
Gentle Giant - The Power and the glory
Prog rock classic too!
will look into it! thankyou
The video You're talkin about that goes along with Dark Side of The Moon is something called "The wizard of Oz"! A 1939 movie that you probably know or have at least seen!
One thing about Dark Side of the Moon and most Pink Floyd music is you cannot really date it other than finding the date on the album. That's because they sing about the human condition and how people behave and live. They don't sing about current events or fast cars or how big and powerful I am or how much money I have!! Their views are more human behavior & political in their lyrics.
I've heard this. You're supposed to press play as soon as the Metro Goldwyn Mayer lion roars.
Dad reacts? He probably bought it when it came out!
bro is like 1000 yers ols
I dont know if you'll are familiar with swans, but would love to see a to be kind reaction, as it is one of my fav album of all time. Is quite long though 😅
ive been wanting to listen to a swans album forever but have never felt like i had the time. maybe we will do that!
Hey Scott, you did your job right in raising your son.
AW WELL THANJYIOU
I’d like to suggest, if you do the album “Wish you Were Here”, that you post each song individually so that you can post full length songs with analysis. I believe with YTube rules you have to pause and discuss what you’re hearing .. but .. 😅 🤷🏼♀️
hmm that is a possibility we will talk it over when that rolls around
“No Shit! yeah..,” truer words never were spoken at the opening to any music review of this album. Hahaha. The whole album plays light one track. Also, this is an album experience, not a radio album.
мне понравилась реакция👍
cool one video to guy like me who learn English. Pls go on
DSOTM is highly derivative of The Old Testament (Tanakh) book of *Ecclesiastes.* If you've never read it and you like DSOTM, you should read it.
interesting wdh
@@theeforefront
Wdh???
Dude loses grandpa
I’d love to see Wish You Were Here!
will happen
Is this a ripoff of The FrontRoom?
yes
A 60 year old who has NEVER heard DSOTM? i call bullshit
He literally talks about his knowledge/perspective of Pink Floyd at the beginning of the video. You should work on your listening and comprehension skills. Think more, type less
Fast forwarding Floyd fouls the flavour and flops the flow from flowing fellas 🤷♂️🤪👎 especially to this planets greatest masterpiece 👍
we didnt fast forward
As soon as you jump the tracks you lost me so I won't be watching again.
Me as well, and I am disappointed since the introduction before the music started really had me wanting to watch. Forefront, why truncate the music, it can't be a copyright issue since many others have reviewed complete versions? Please rethink this "strategy."
so the reason we do this has to do with youtube and it’s preferences. we know cutting the video is beneficial in youtube sense but i agree as i don’t like watching reactions that are cut. for that reason we post the unedited versions on our patreon because i don’t want to not have them accessible.
@@theeforefront I could not really follow the talking parts because I had to jump through the talking parts. Has to do with my preferences, which is nonsense by the way, as there are thousands of Pink Floyd people making the same kind of videos and playing them a lot better. With much longer parts..on frakking youtube..and strangely, they all act like they've never heard of Pink Floyd before..and even stranger, people buy it..first time hearing u2, first time hearing led zeppelin, first time hearing whatever big bands, singers..and yes, I know, at least you 2 didn't pretend not to know about this band above.( ps, I did not skip talking parts, not at all..)
@@mistermayonaiseit's not implausible. Except for maybe accidentally listening I've never heard u2, I've heard like 3 songs from zeppelin etc.
You must not be familiar with youtube... this is pretty normal and necessary for the format.
