This film was part of the exhibition “I ♥ Hackney: An exhibition celebrating Hackney and its people” (November 2005 - February 2006).
The exhibition launched the popular logo which was later adopted by Hackney Council during a wider campaign.
What was Hackney like in the past? How has it changed?
