Khoshbagh has the historical cemetery of Nawab Siraj Uddaula and his family. But there is no name plaque on any grave except the grave of Siraj Uddaula. Therefore, if you come to visit this place, you have to take the help of guides. But the information that the guides present to the tourists seems to be largely misleading and out of history. Therefore, I am trying to present the correct information based on the research of Khosbagh to you by discussing with some young researchers.The names of Nawab Sirajuddaula and Mir Zafar are very well known in the history of Bengal. One is called a patriot and the other a traitor. History has turned one into a vessel of honor and another into dishonour.When I went to Murshidabad, India and visited Sirajuddaula's tomb, it was very sad but true that I did not see his tomb as I had hoped to see.Even after 250 years of Palashi incident, the tomb of Nawab Sirajuddaula of Murshidabad and the unknown secret of Khoshbagh still brings tears to the eyes because the last independent Nawab of Bangla Bihar Orissa is lying in eternal sleep in Khoshbagh along with his entire family who were victims of betrayal, two and a half years old. Seeing the poor condition of this Khosh Bagh makes me feel a little sad.......................................................................................

মীরজাফর রাজধানীতে পৌঁছে নবাবকে খুঁজে না পেয়ে চারদিকে লোক পাঠালেন। ১৭৫৭ সালের ৩ জুলাই সিরাজদ্দৌলা মহানন্দা নদীর স্রোত অতিক্রম করে এলেও তাতে জোয়ার ভাটার ফলে হঠাৎ করে জল কমে যাওয়ায় নাজিমপুরের মোহনায় এসে তার নৌকা চড়ায় আটকে যায়। তিনি নৌকা থেকে নেমে খাবার সংগ্রহের জন্য একটি মসজিদের নিকটবর্তী বাজারে আসেন। সেখানে কিছু লোক তাকে চিনে ফেলে অর্থের লোভে মীর জাফরের সৈন্যবাহিনীকে খবর দেয়।এ সম্পর্কে ভিন্ন আরেকটি মত আছে যে দানেশ ফকির এখানে নবাব কে দেখে চিনে ফেলে।উক্ত দানেশ ফকির ইতঃপূর্বে নবাব কর্তৃক শাস্তিপ্রাপ্ত হয়ে তার এক কান হারিয়েছিল। সেই দানেশ ফকির নবাবের খবর জানিয়ে দেয়। তারা এসে সিরাজদ্দৌলাকে বন্দি করে রাজধানী মুর্শিদাবাদে পাঠিয়ে দেয়। বন্দী হবার সময় নবাবের সাথে ছিলেন তার স্ত্রী লুতফা বেগম এবং চার বছর বয়সী কন্যা উম্মে জহুরা। এর পরের দিন ৪ জুলাই (মতান্তরে ৩রা জুলাই) মীরজাফরের আদেশে তার পুত্র মিরনের তত্ত্বাবধানে মুহম্মদিবেগ নামের এক ঘাতক সিরাজদ্দৌলাকে হত্যা করে। কথিত আছে, সিরাজের মৃত্যুর পর তার মৃতদেহ হাতির পিঠে চড়িয়ে সারা শহর ঘোরানো হয়। মুর্শিদাবাদের খোশবাগে নবাব আলিবর্দী খানের কবরের কাছে তাকে কবর দেয়া হয়। Tomb of Nawab Sirajuddaula and the unknown mystery of Khoshbagh | History of Khoshbag |Kalkut Tv.....................................
