My father died in 2015 from alcohol/liver failure. I was 20 years old. His eyes and skin were dark yellow. The day following his admission into the hospital he didn’t even know who I was. His mind was pretty much fried. 30 days after that he passed in hospice. I can remember back when I was in high school I would hit the gym before school so I’d be up and moving about 4:30a.m. And my father would be up sitting in his man cave drinking a 12 pack. He couldn’t stop and wouldn’t stop. He was only 50 years old.
