All except Chanwoo competed in the show WIN: Who Is Next as team B. Team A won, therefore got the name WINNER. Both iKON and WINNER are still close friends so check out them while you're at it. After their loss they were all sent back to training and after a while competed in another show, Mix & Match, where the original team B members and 3 new trainees were competing for a place in a new boy group with 7 members. The original 6 team B members won + Chanwoo, and so iKON was born.
Both B.I. and Bobby competed in season 3 of Show Me The Money (a rap competition), however B.I. was eliminated early on. Bobby went through and eventually won the show🎉🎉 (some very good rap songs were produced there)
Bobby was born in Korea, but grew up in the US. He passed an audition for YG and moved back to Korea on his own at age 16.
Bobby also did a sub-unit project with fellow rapper Mino from WINNER, called MOBB. They released two singles (check them out, really, it's very good and will make your wig fly).
Bobby also has a lot of solo stuff, with a single, HOLDUP, and a full-length studio album, Love and Fall.
Before becoming a trainee at YG, Chanwoo was a child actor in a few Korean TV series.
DongHyuk unfortunately lost his father at a very young age. It is not really known where he went then, but there are some rumors he spent a few years in the US, which can definitely be true as he is fluent in English.
B.I. has a few tattoos, all with meaning (just google it). Bobby has 1 tattoo, which his father also has. Jinhwan also has tattoos (just google them as well)
