- Taking a look at the caching functionality in Nuke, discovering a few bugs in the process.
Nuke uses an internal file format called .nkc to store the cache from the viewer. I made a little python script to view the files.
Huge shoutout to Shizlog for inspiring the kawaii mode :)
I loved your nodes style.. how you do that??
Wow! That is so great to get a glimpse of this strange caching behaviour and an awesome tool to work with it. Thanks a lot!!!
Amazing as always ❤
I feel like this has been an issue since Nuke12. It has been getting worse. Thank you for pointing this out. Bugs like this mess with your head trying to deliver under pressure. They don't really fix any of these bugs with rotopaint and basic 2d stuff. The 2d tracker is in bad bad shape.
Very interesting, thank you for delving into that topic :D
Also I want those faces on my node tree as well - that's not a plugin/script/etc, right?
I'm pretty sure it's a script, but I don't know how to access to that level of the nodegraph to add images to the nodes.
Great stuff Mads!
give me kawaii mode
Where can I find this nkc reader and the kawaii mode ?
