@MARCELLA NA NOVA ZELANDIA I believe in his case and the same reason that I do it, is to help lift off any stubborn dirt with the chemicals in the products used via foam cannon, and then use the bucket method to ensure a perfectly clean surface. Doing this reduces the risk of you scratching the paint by removing more particles of dirt which is especially important on higher end vehicles. In the cases of some vehicles, they have a ceramic coating or other coatings that can actually be enhanced and somewhat rejuvenated by products foamed and applied to the surface as well. All kinds of reasons to pre foam sir. I hope that was helpful.
What the pros do in Norway, where cars also get really dirty in the winter, is to put foam on top of the degreaser. The foam extends the time that the degreaser can work by preventing it from drying out, at the same time as you get the effect of the foam as well.

I love all your videos and this one is really good. I have to point out something negative though: the focus on the interior in this video. Also, I haven't seen any 'after' images. I would've loved to see how you detailed the pedals and the carpets. Also, more attention to the windows interior. Having crystal clear windows is a fantastic sensation, especially in the night. Don't take it as a negative comment, but as a constructive one. Peace!

I’ve never had any issues with it smearing. Sometimes I even spray an entire side of the car and start working it in. Are you having issues with it leaving streaks?
@@VermijlCarDetail yes I do. I have a black vehicle and I always see smears and some streaking. I try and out more product on microfiber I stead of panel but still have those issues.
