Kudos to Hyundai for adding blind spot monitoring cameras! Take that Toyota and Honda! Also, ventilated front seats is reserve for Limited hybrid models.
@@jetfuel6043 Yeah, but Hyundai implemented better by not having the camera operation system in the infotainment and has cameras for left and right turns, not just right turns like Honda did. And the camera quality was crappy. I know first hand. My cousin had a 2014 Honda Accord. He even complain how grainy it was, and also question the one camera signal thing, like I just bought up. He now drives a Genesis and love the technology.
@@jraheemjefcoat429 haha I think you’re over exaggerating the quality statement. I’ve owned two Honda products and one Hyundai product with the feature and the quality is much of the same even with the Hondas being older, so maybe theirs degraded over time as even some videos on RUclips will show you the camera quality isn’t grainy
@@jetfuel6043 Over exaggerate? How’s so when it’s someone personal experience with the camera system? Like I said, Hyundai execution with the camera monitoring is way better what Honda did. And I’m sure a lot of auto journalists on RUclips will agree with that.
@@jraheemjefcoat429 I jokingly said it but it seems you want to argue.. I owned two separate hondas with the feature over a total of 10 years and I still own one on side my hyundai sonata.. and like I said the quality is not crappy. Does hyundai get points for execution considering its on both mirrors alone? Absolutely. But that does not discredit honda for not only being first but also doing a great job!
I have the 2023 luxury and I was super disappointed in the acceleration, but everything else is immaculate! The steering wheel and Boss speakers are what sold me on it, not to mention I have serious back issues to the point sometimes I have to stay in bed for days because it just stops working all together, this car has helped my back SO much! I had a Corolla back in 2018, it was terrible on my back but it's acceleration and safety was what sold me on the Corolla
Any difference with acceleration in sport mode...? I know my dads 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport with the 2.4 liter engine. That puts out 185hp & 178lbs torque works MUCH better when in sport mode. Especially, when you need to merge or pass someone on the highway. I agree that Hyundai dropped the ball on the acceleration and torque numbers. This vehicle should have had 160hp & 148lbs torque. That would have made a BIG difference. Or they could have turbo this current engine.

You got a better rear suspension, the dual clutch transmission and 60 more torque which probably makes the hybrid sportier feeling but I don't know when the 2024 hybrids are coming out
They should have put the horsepower and torque numbers higher. To say 160hp and 148lbs torque. That would have made a BIG difference having 13 more horses and 16lbs torque.
Thanks for the review and for filming this in HDR! It looks more lifelike and helps you understand how the car looks irl 5:55 I'd say it looks more like an Audi steering wheel, especially the Q4 Etron one
Another good review. I drive a 23 Kia Forte gt line with the same power train. It is more than adequate for every day driving. You do have to lean on it to get off the line quicker, but it does move well once you get moving. Looked at other cars in the segment, such as civic and Corolla, and they were more expensive for comparable trims. Mpg's are also very good.
Correction on the interior lights, they aren't led, they're just incandescent. The way you can usually tell the difference is an led will generally be a white color, while incandescent or halogen will be a more yellowish color. Also, leds can turn off and on instantly, while incandescent and halogens take a half second to fully turn on or off.
They have defnly perfected this one 🔥 looks great. But I’ll be staying with my 2021 Elantra Limited till they make the 12.9” screen better or bigger lolol 😅 or something changes there. Looks the same tbh.
Why younger buyers? Younger see themselves only in a Civic Si or a mastodon truck. Don't believe me? Watch the other car reviews of this young man. You'll have a good idea of what younger buyers' tastes. Watch what this young reviewer is actually driving. Says a lot, a lot.
@@racineurr.8924I am 18 and I am currently in the process of leasing one of these after my 2022 Nissan Sentra SR Premium turned out to be a lemon. Who says this car can’t appeal to younger buyers?
There is no other vehicle in this price range with 360 camera parking sensors and blind cameras which I want and need. Wish had ventilated seats. Sentra has 360 camera for same price but lacks the other stuff. If dealer will drop 2k off price be cause sedan vs cuv wow. The front end improved is why I would also buy vs current model. Civic base models pale in tech and Corolla and VW all lack the tech. 5 year warranty and 3 years free maintenance top of my list
It sucks that on the lower trims you get a manual e brake. Also, it makes no sense hyundai not to offer wireless car play. In the base trim it should jave a push button start sp people doesn't steal it like tbey did on my 2017.
I have the 2023 and much prefer the 2023 front styling. I think Hyundai made a mistake with the 2024. Just an opinion, of course. I'm sure Hyundai would disagree with me.
That is a stunning looking car. Hyundai and the Elantra have come a long, long way from their initial looks.
Totally agree!! 👍🏼
Agree.
The biggest difference between Japanese cars and Korean cars seems to be "design." They all have their own unique design concepts.
Kudos to Hyundai for adding blind spot monitoring cameras! Take that Toyota and Honda! Also, ventilated front seats is reserve for Limited hybrid models.
It wouldn’t be a take that moment for Honda, considering Honda has had that feature since 2013.

I wish every 2024 elantra came with ambient lighting

No it does, it’s just hard to see since it’s daytime

Great car. I love my 03,except for fogging headlights. And the trunk cover letting loose on passenger side. Thanks for the video

Agreed. A lot of Audi design language in this car, inside and out
I'm thinking of buy a new 24' Hyundai Elantra.
Good luck!! 👍🏼

Going to look at this exact on in Brandon now, its the only Limited they have.
Why are there no AC vents in rear seats?
Elantra’s never had it 🤷 in line with competition
Blind spot monitoring cameras are not available in my Elantra luxury 2024
I hope to get one 😢
This car has more power than midsize cars like a Camry from the year 2000
Only the 4cyl version. The 2000 v6 Camry had nearly 200 hp. And that was 24 years ago.
Yknow what’s crazy? I was looking at this exact car in Brandon last night
I hope Elantra will get smart park assist. With 360 degree camera it should be possible at least in the most expensive variants.
Which trims have the rear horizontal light strip thay goes across the whole body?
Limited and up i think

good refresh but it needs more horsepower
Anything about the elantra n line.
My boyfriend have it it's so pretty 😍 in real interior design and exterior design ❤
Anyone know if this is the american version of the i30 premium in australia?
Twice he said the interior lights are LED but they looked yellow to me
Is this same as Luxury trim in Canada? I don’t see a Limited trim for it
I believe so 👍🏼
Waiting for the N Line model
I’ll try getting one asap! 👍🏼
Nah definitely waiting on the N, not the N Line. I have a 2023 Elantra N and I’m curious what the differences will be.
Now my personal car I want to afford one.
I was told you're not supposed to lay down TVs
This kinda reminds me of the Kia K5 design
I can see that! Little bit of the accord too 👍🏼
bro the interior lights are not led . they r old halogens
Friend, you’re voice is inaudible in the driving segment. Good video anyway.
Man I kinda want it but it’s slower then my old ass 2010 Chevy cobalt 😭😭😭
After having my 2021 broken into, I’m done with Kia and Hyundai for the next 5 years or so
Showwwww 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍
It's a Magsafe
Nobody knows about ride quality unless they drive on rutted dirt roads and broken pavement like I do in Vermont
It looks cheapier than last year's design. Hyundai tends to screw up their refreshes.
GOD DAMN COULD OF LEAST PUT A 1.5T. MY GO ALL LIMITED 2019 UNDER WERE 2.0T COME ON

Next time when you are reviewing the car headlights, taillights, and the drl make sure you turn them on. Its basic common sense man.
The infotainment Ui looks so outdated for a 2024 model.
Too much road noise unfortunately.
🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮Hyundai, Kia
Why?
Junk the engine will blow trust me.
Try hard body line design that looks hideous. Nothing can change my mind.
