Speedway is a great sport, I was introduced to it in 1984 in So Cal, rode myself for a summer. It’s a very hard sport to master, but 40 years later I’m still a fan! Hate it that team USA isn’t in the race this year.

given the power, gearing,and grip, I don't think that stamping on the track makes a damn of difference. I suspect it's a bit psychological, the fear of not doing it and tempting fate.

I haven't watched Speedway since I was around 7, so when I got the nostalgic recall, I had to find a race. This was really nice to find!

@Glenn-F-Rice I've seen too many speedway accidents whilst trackside, never seen one through a stuck throttle though.

500cc Fuel methanol. No gearbox and brakes. Weight 70kg, power 70 horsepower.. Revolutions limited to 13500
