"You bring her here, we practice with her " says the owner of Chinese restaurant @ 9:41 I love it! Happy New Year Penelope and to all the Miller Family and to everybody!
I love to hear Penelope speak Mandarin. I'm also adopted from China and I live in Iceland now. So yeah you have viewers from all around rhe world, even Iceland! Unfortunatly I've forgotten how to speak Mandarin since then, because I was adopted at such a young age. I still do understand a handfull of words and I've taken Chinese lessons and I do remember plenty of words. I love you guys!
Hey I just wanted to encourage you my name is Meg. Wow myself before the Christian this morning I've been serving in Taiwan since I was 25 and I'm now 42. I'm not fluent in Chinese can I find enough to function in Taiwan. Your Chinese will probably be better because you had an opportunity to study. It's easy if you can hear the sound and your brain remembers because you were little
I love Penelope. She's such a sweetheart. So much fun to embrace the Chinese culture and to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Blended families are so inspiring.
Penelope is so sweet as well as all the other kids. She really looked as if she really was having a good time talking her native language and seeing Lincoln watching her talk. It's awesome. I love you all. God Bless you all. Stay safe
I love how Kiera & Panalope bond together. They were meant to be the best siblings. Wow, Ethan is such a handsome little boy. Love his hairstyle which looks so Korean to me 😍👌💙
I love that you guys encourage Penelope to speak in her native tongue and seeing her getting all excited seeing her favourite snacks from China is the cutest thing. Chinese is definitely a hard language to learn and this is coming from someone who grew up speaking it at home.
The Bilingual aspect can open jobs up for Penny ... for embassy work or some schools are teaching Chinese as a foreign language...like Tyler Texas elementary program!
As a Korean i love to see being ready to celebrate lunar new year's day cause we are also about to have it soon in Korea. And it was good to see several Korean foods in Asian market ;) Such a beautiful family. i feel very cozy when i see u guys always being together and spend time for family. I am already excited for your next video !! Lots of love from South Korea
Lincolns face at the beginning when he hears Penelope speaking Chinese is so so so sweet. Does Penny speak with Lincoln in Mandarin still sometimes? Sooo cute!
My mouth is watering looking at the food on that table ! You are such a beautiful and inspiring family. Penelope is just the sweetest and most adorable girl. I love watching her grow and become more confident and beautiful with time. Love from Nova Scotia Canada 🇨🇦
🙂😌It makes my heart happy as an Asian American that you allow Penelope to speak her native language because for me, growing up as an Asian American and growing up around mostly English-speaking people, I can't speak my native Cantonese language, but I'm thankful that my grandpa and uncle know some English, but I love how you guys make sure Penelope never loses her ability to be bilingual.
I wish I can understand her Chinese! Linky looked happy and seemed understand whenever she spoke in Chinese! That's so nice! Cannot wait to see your next Vlog!!!
I am waiting patiently for this video . And every of your other video. Love seeing how much Penelope has grow since she come to the forever home . And glad that she looks happier each time as time pass. And seeing how much love both you and Stephen has been giving each of the child is really amazing how far the family has come .
I love all the encouragement and love you give the kiddos. You guys are going to need a lot of land when you get the new home. At least an acre for each boy. 😂 Lincoln is adorable. I want to just hug him! Give him a squeeze from me!
It really made me lool when I thought you guys thought 我不知道 wo bu zhidao meant "sticky rice" hahaha! Dim sum looked amazing! And so happy to see Penny in her element. It was so nice that the guy in the restaurant said to bring her back to practise,💖 then I thought if Penny ever wanted to in the future, it would be a good idea if she worked there to keep her mandarin fresh and practise English. Linky defo recognises mandarin as the way he looked at Penny was so sweet. 💖
Steven is the language talent, I believe if he take time to learn mandarin, he can do pretty well. Usually people good at singing also good at languages.
I love it when Penelope speaks Mandarin. Her entire face lights up and she becomes so animated. It was really funny when she was asking how many packages of the dumplings you wanted to get and you couldn't understand her. She then finally had to ask you in English after asking multiple times in Mandarin. Love for the Miller Family 💞 Stay Happy, Safe and Healthy Everyone 💕
I lived in China and can speak Chinese but back in the states now. I miss China so much and listening to Penelope speak Chinese makes me so very happy 😊
Is Penny’s native tongue Cantonese? Sometimes she says some canto words. I’m so glad to see that She can still speak Chinese very well! You guys are such great parents
Both her and Lincoln are from Guangzhou right? Or at least Guangdong? I live here and most people can speak both Cantonese and Mandarin pretty fluently and sometimes speak a mix of the two. I’m a teacher and because I’ve been learning so much Mandarin, some of my students have started intentionally speaking Cantonese so I can’t understand what they’re saying 😂
@@n4musica well, I remember Penelope is from Guangxi province, and Lincoln is from Nanjing city (Zhejiang province). They got their US visa in Guangzhou.
Wow Stephen’s pronunciation is on point for a first timer! he definitely has talent!! It’s so lovely watching you guys having chinese food and be together! Food looks AMAZINGGG
I’ve watched and still watching RUclips family channels but this one for me is the best, the love, kindness, unity, compassion, support displayed in the daily lives of this family, is outstanding, kids and parents all have great hearts, you’re the best Millerfam, I love you so much ❤️❤️
I just love it when Penelope speaks her language 👍 the fun you guys have together 🥳 so much love 💗 with the Miller’s family!!! So happy you guys make videos of your family, I enjoy 😊 watching 😘😘😘
I’m playing this video right now for my 8 year old Chinese son who will not speak Mandarin. He’s been home 1 year and he not comfortable with it. Thank you sweet Penelope for helping him feel like it *might* be OK to speak Mandarin to his family. ♥️
Im mexican and have two older brothers and two younger sisters. Growing up i use to be so embarrassed that i had a big family. When we would go out in public i use to think everyone was judging us. I thought everyone was thinking we fit the mexican stereotype of having a big family. But after seeing your family i realized how blessed i actually am to have a big family.
You're very Supportive to Penelope and She's very Blessed to have a you as her Parents and Family. Zăoshang hăo, dàizhe wēixìo! (Good Morning with a Smile)
I love Amanda dear when you call Penelope Ms😀. Those kids really have great attitude plus the loving and sweet parents. This family really a blessings to us. Love you Miller fam. God bless you allall💕😘
Great that Penelope still speaks Mandarin. Especially as this is a very good language to have in later life. As least she speaks two languages well, and is a charming girl. This will be great for her prospects career wise one day. All the best for your future Penelope.
Really enjoying this video. Thanks for offering Penelope such great opportunity to speak her first language. When I saw her speaking mandarin with you guys, I can feel the love from your whole family.
Very proud of Penelope, she speaks beautiful Chinese, Chinese is my native language, I can confirm that. Congrats to her amazing American parents, Happy Lunar New Year to the entire Miller family, you are inspiring 🙏
As a Chinese who moved to the US when I was little. I’m so glad that Penny still remember how to say Chinese and willing to show us about it. Sometime is hard to translate some word into Chinese. There is no real Chinese dim sum restaurant around the place that I live right now, I’m missed dim sum so much.
It has been so great to hear a little about each kid. Liam and now Penelope :-) She is such a smart and strong girl. Congratulations to her and her parents.
Im listening to Penelope speaking in mandarin trying to read and understand the english translation and you speaking in english too as im french 😂 Love the diversity and love that you respect and encourage her with her roots what a wonderful family ❤
Penelope getting excited about the spicy sticks was really sweet (I love spicy food too) the fact that she gets to eat them again is great. Loved this video!
Mandarin is my third language (after Cantonese and English) and after seeing the title, I made it a challenge for me to not read the subtitles. I had fun!
I love how after penny says something in Mandarin Amanda is like ‘yep, totally, what she said!’ Penny this was a great opportunity to trick your mum, you could’ve been like ‘so my mum’s going to give me a million dollars...’ and she would’ve had no idea. I’m still amazed how penny is fluent in 2 languages at such a young age!
Did you see Lincoln's face when Penny speaks? She should only speak in Mandarin to him. He gets it.
Yeah I think Lincoln really understood, and liked hearing his sister talk in Mandarin. Love you Linky!
Yes!
I hope that Penny teaches Linky so he can maintain a part of his heritage!
Yes, would be nice if Lincoln could continue to be exposed to both languages. More than 1 language helps with intelligence.
It's been awhile that Penelope didn't communicate in Chinese. She is just a beautiful and intelligent girl, always love her so much!
Same here 🙌🏼 love her!
👍👍👍👍👍👍
So true! She is very sweet and loves her family, and her siblings aswell!

That was so nice of you to make Penelope feel loved and valued in her Mandarin heritage. ❤️

Is Penny’s native tongue Cantonese? Sometimes she says some canto words. I’m so glad to see that She can still speak Chinese very well! You guys are such great parents
I think her tongue is from Guangxi, which is the neighbouring province to Canton province. So sometimes the intonation is similar.
