I am surprised. What a beautiful timbre! His musicality and tuning seems to excel as well. The tuneful song does help. However this is something I wouldn't expect to find me saying for a senior male voice. Not my favorite voice class with a few exceptions, like Tony Bennet, Willie Nelson, Robert Palmer and some Italian (Franco Simone, R. Cocciante, etc) Spanish and French ones. As always B&B taste for timbre was hard to be surpassed, more so with the benefit of hindsight.
