The opponent misclicking at 18:54 was rough. Countering a planeswalker emblem is one of the most unusual and cool things that you can do, and this poor lad or lass conceeded the match of out frustration or embarrassment. Even though we inherently root for our POV, that was a tad hard to watch.

If they haven't fixed it yet I think verdant command countering planeswalker abilities doesn't work if the planeswalker is no longer on the battlefield. I did submit a bug report a while back but I wouldn't be surprised if they've not fixed it.
Damn you can even make the Venture mechanic work which is not really strong in my opinion. Love your Brawl Content and the way you explain your plays most definitly made me a better mtg player so thanks for that, cheers
I was playing Historic Brawl queue and noticed an oddly big amount of Ellywick Tumblestrom opponents. Sure enough I check up on LVD's channel and there she is. I'm glad you're finally getting the recognition you deserve!
You missed lethal a turn early in match 3, you could have replayed ellywick and used her loyalty to animate heart of kiran to hit for 6. Then +1 to venture into tomb of annihilation. Dungeon lethal. Exactly. Love your content, you are a big inspiration, I just wanted to share another line I saw that was available! Edit - lvd mentioned this line in video if I would’ve just watched like 30 more seconds, lol, should have known…nothing gets past you good sir

I've actually had this come up in one of my games(holding Verdant, opponent making an Emblem with Elly even) and there was something weird that happened. I had all of the options available EXCEPT the counter one. Even when I clicked it, nothing happened and it would not select that option and I was forced to pick other ones. Maybe same thing happened here? Some kind of weird bug, although I don't think it would have made a difference in the end given board states.

In game 1 when swinging for lethal, why didn't the newly animated forest become a 5/5? The guardian idol got the buff from the Ellywick emblem, why not the land?
35:27 You might as well wait until you're about to cast your first spell of the game before using Once Upon a Time since you would get to see more cards before you make the decision, but I guess llanowar elves might've made it worth it.
I was really hoping we’d get more Historic BO1. Brawl is cool and all. But there’s such a dearth of people playing interesting decks in any format right now. And Historic is the one with the most potential since it has the largest card pool.
I fought a guy named "Elly's Toes" who was an ellywick avatar playing a ellywick brawl deck a couple months ago, I ended up making one out of respect, but it had no real payoffs lol

The ability to nerf or buff any card after it was printed on paper is both a blessing and a curse, but even more so it opens a new age in Magic where the digital experience and the physical one are no longer even the same game.
This is cute, but you really shouldn't go all in on venture. Just play good green creatures and use the walker as a card advantage engine. Green things don't need to be much bigger, you can go for the emblem in a stalemate to give things trample and you will get +2/+2 incidentally when you complete the middle dungeon when you play a couple of good spells that just happen to venture.
Every time LVD says "Let's see how the deck does", I really look forward to see how the deck does.

playing a planeswalker with the focused intent of using their Ultimate makes it more fun :)

I played way to many Heliod decks yesterday. Anyway, sweet games. I played a mono red dungeon deck that murdered me. Maybe I’ll build one.
