If I had a nickel for every couple on Julie and the Phantoms who had a six year age difference in real life, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice
as soon as we watch julie and the phantoms and when they see luke we put all of our attention all on luke and julie because hey are actually a cute couple and luke acts so cute to the point where he acts dumb to get julie because we all know he has feeings for julie
I think it’s alright cause they aren’t kissing so it’s just romantic looking and acting so it can’t really be gross yet. Anyway that’s why I shouldn’t be looking into the actors ages cause then I just get disappointed 😢
It's not the age gap that is the issue exactly. I mean 16 and 17 is fine and 17 and 19 is fine, and 31 and 41 is okay, even 21 and 27 is okay. But 16 and 22 is not okay. It's a combination of the age gap and the young age itself.

In some states 16 is okay, in some states it's 17, and in some, it's 18. It's not right but if they dated, it would really depend on what state they were in as to whether or not they would get in legal trouble. Even as someone who lives in the U.S., I think they're should be uniformity across the states for stuff like this.
