i know this was years ago, but i just had to say that it is one of the most delightful and most enthusiastic versions of my favorite carol-- thanks so much!
Happy memories of singing this at the Christmas Fair in The Tabernacle in Rodborough, Gloucestershire, UK, with Howard Beard leading and other members of The cappella Singers.
Glad to hear the English Concertina. I am the great, great, great, (and probably more greats) granddaughter of Charles Wheatstone, the English inventor of the English Concertina. Later a German named Carl Friedrich Uhlig introduced the German Concertina. I always had played the chord organ (another reed free instrument) not knowing it is I jokingly say in my genes to be playing something similar. ;~)
I love their outfits
O good joy and a wassail to merry old England ! ... Wassail !

Delightful! I was a solo ballad/shanty singer on stage at Dickens 1970-73. Always joyful singing this wassail.

Our Corgi just proffered her green chew bone to the speaker, translation being Blais enjoyed it!

🌹Howdy shreychaudhary🌹 Agreed, tis a validation! Thanks for the a.m. chuckle
Very nice!
I normally hate US versions of English Christmas songs, but this is VERY good. Wonderfully rumbustious, as it should be.
Sounds great! Where can I get the sheet music of this arrangement?
Dickens would have been happy
God bless us, every one.
what’s the instrument played at the beginning
it's an ocarina
Actually it’s an English concertina.
@@serenahm I think theyr'e asking about the flute thing, not the accordion-y thing
