    Grigor Dimitrov has the best looking groundshots on tour. So satisfying to watch!

    I'm a huge fan of Federer and I have to admit this is the most beautiful practice video I have ever watched. Excellence and a work of art. I wish I can play like them, especially like Dimitrov.

      Eric Nguyen then clearly you're not a true fed fan. fed's technique is the pinnacle of clean and effortless hitting. a thing of true beauty

    These kind of videos help me so much. When I practice with my sprarring partner I always get upset when cant hit 5-6 1handed backhands in a row. But when I look at such a great players as Dimitrov I realize, that if you try to improve and hit every ball with 100% you will eventually miss very often.
    So this keeps me going, you can moonball all day and hit 30+ cross courts in a row, but in the long run there is no point in such practice. Just keep trying play your best agressive tennis and maybe one day you will become "Roger".

    Ryan was oh so happy here. Light-hearted casual practice. 2 tournaments won in a row, expectations for him becoming America's next champion begin to rise. About to marry his girlfriend.
    What could go wrong for this reborn man? The next day... FOGNINI happens, and Ryan crashes and burns in first round and smashes all the rackets in his bag. He loses in Miami in first round too. Amazing how he went from 100 to 0 in just a single day

    • @CharlesXiongL
      @CharlesXiongL 7 лет назад +2

      Honestly, I feel like Ryan isn't that good on the professional level. His ground strokes, always land right in the sweet spot. Dropping right on the service line with easy bounce. His ground strokes are easy setups for his opponents. His forehand is too wristy and looks unorthodox. His extension of the arm isn't fully through either. I don't think the US will produce another great player for a long time. Just my two cents. But he better than a lot of others and what do I know? I'm not a pro.

    Excellent depth from dimitrov, even though it's just practice it's what sets him apart from a player like Harrison. I didn't see him hit a single ball inside the service line while Harrison hit several

    If Harrison smashes less rackets, he'd have more to practice with and actually get closer to the potential that he'll never reach

    • @deathbombs

      Trevor Owen the analysis is accurate, Harrison lost his mind in all the big events and smashed all his rackets. just when he started showing signs of promise too

      i dont think i would win Ryan Harrison in a game but his strokes compared to Dimitrov are all over the place. hitting the balls too short as well. Dimotrov hits them nice and deep. Really shows a stark comparison.

    He’d hit a heavier ball if he’d quit using to much wrist.

    • @mrglance1
      @mrglance1 5 лет назад

      You think so? I think the wrist whips the ball pretty well and makes you tire less. I am trying to apply it in my game.
