@@slayser7179 oh it is. The plot sucks, but the gameplay is addicting as fuck. I sometimes spend hours in free play. Tag Force 6 is also great, though the music IMO isn't as good as it is in Over the Nexus(with the exception of Brave. It slaps hard as fuck and fits so well with destiny draw feature)
Just replayed 2011 with a fresh profile for the first time. I'm still miffed Konami didn't attempt to close out the story with Aporia or even the Arc Cradle (given Extreme Victory and Meklord Astro Mekanikle were TCG legal by the game's release), but I still had a blast playing through again.
the moment he started with ten cards and activated that permanent spell, which inflicts 300 extra burn dmg, I knew that this could be a problem. I survived his turn with around a 1000 LP. Then it was my first turn and by that I mean it was Kalins first turn. He set a monster and passed. Yeah we didnt win that Duel. But for the rematch I slid in some Hanewatas and we won the next time, although I didnt even draw any of my Hanewatas. Great Times.
This Duel is pretty much a luck based mission. During my first WCS 2011 run, I was impressed by Ramon's Hamon CB strategy (I didn't know about that interaction before), and so I proceeded to build the deck and got crushed by Lawton. I decided to play my reverse Uno card and built a Burn deck focused on Hidden Barrel, hoping I'd draw at least 2 in my opening hand. It worked and I one shot Lawton. For my second run, I decided that I would only change my deck if I lost, and I lost once before reaching Lawton. I had decided to change my deck only based on the cards I had won in Duels (so I bought no packs). I beat Lawton on my first try. I expected it to be a huge grind fest, but I went first and he didn't one shot me on his first turn.
good old times. reminds me of the one time I literally outhealed his burn damage and let kalin do all the damage. don't really know how I did this anymore sadly enough, but I remember it to be a lot of fun.
You, who came from my future/past Blackwing video (if not, nvm): you're a giga Chad for having such a good music taste
Goddamn it, how did you know?
I am surprised you havent used the other songs. They all slap especially One Coin Dream.
I thought people forgot about the WC series, glad to see people still listen to the awesome music that came from it.
I still listen to it and play the games when I can. The 2009 version was one of the first DS games I played, if not the first one I played.
I don't really listen to it just come across it, but maaaan, this yugioh 2011 game is probably the best yugioh games of all times

Honestly my favorite track in this game. I just got a huge nostalgia trip from hearing this again.
Civilization would be perfect in 2024 if Konami still made World Championship games the last 10 years instead of going full gacha
Facts
It's a two on one, surely we have the upper hand?
Lotten with 10 burn cards: lol, lmao
How many peoples are still listening this ost in 2023

Do sure the only way to win is using Hanewata and some luck

Damn that Chainburn-guy with 10 hand cards
The DS games had such bangers tbh. I hope someday someone remaster them.
Great Shogun Shien for the win!
This game soundtrack is too good.
IMO, yu gi oh WC series games with best music is 5DS over the nexus, especially gatling buster.
My battle theme when i'm playing master duel.
