    I can imagine the safety instructions given to passengers: “Don’t climb on the rails. If we are crashing, kiss your ass goodbye on the way down. Try tucking and rolling, but…”

      The safety briefing is, "Prepare for landing. Please hold onto the ropes or anything except the fuel tanks. Get down low and bend your knees, and brace against the basket in the direction of travel." If the passenger has trouble, you help orient them. And the pilot doesn't assume a crash nor do they tell a passenger there could be a crash--they fly the aircraft and continue to fly it as long as they are able.
