This is a darling pattern, but video tutorials like this are BRUTAL for those of us who are experienced. It would be wonderful to have a pdf of the pattern for those of us not wanting to sit through a video. I honestly just needed the specifics for assembly (there are many ways to do it) and the pictures weren't clear enough. Great for beginners.
Yes, I do make my tutorials for beginners, so I understand your frustration. You can speed the video up in the settings (the gear icon below the video) and that may help. My health prevents me from offering more pdf patterns at this time and when I made this pattern, I didn't take photos all the way through, again because of my cogitive issues. Sorry!
This is so adorable. I made a stack of Granny Squares. The thought of doing a large afgan is overwhelming me. Plus I could use a small project bag. What a bonus make one myself. I just need a few more squares and a couple of supplies and i am going to try this. Thank you plus it will good way to get comfortable with joining granny squares working on a smaller project rather than a large afgan. I can't wait to get my squares finished.
Love this tutortial, one question tho, should you chain one and fasten off at the end of the row where you joined the six granny squares horizontally(the first part of the video)?
Yes you can, some people don't finish with a ch1, but I always like the security of it. I don't remember if I did that on this tutorial, but it's a good idea.
You will darn in the tail ends... here is a tutorial on that shows how: (see 15:05 time stamp) ruclips.net/video/uFo7oX7QTDA/видео.html Some people don't like darning in tail ends, but I quite like it. There is a real sense of satisfaction!
There is a written pattern in this granny square blanket project. Just do the first three rounds and that will make the granny squares the same size as I used for the bag. Enjoy! patriciafentie.com/2020/07/01/crochet-granny-square-blanket-tutorial/

I want to make this bag. Do you have a written pattern for the granny squares? I want to make it the size as yours.
