      @Hit Quixote special not perfect. WW2 was one of the main catalysts for the civil rights movement because many African Americans fought and served with courage and honour for a country that treated them terribly. This was actually a pivotal point in history and these men where the same people that came back a voted for de segregation and equality 10 years after the war. They shouldn’t be know for the generation that oppressed Black Americans but the generation that changed how Americans, black and white like their lives today.

      @@furmal86 the military or someone’s personal project in life will pick it up. They get resting locations both through the government and charity organizations. It’s all based on eligibility. But either the military will bury him in a national cemetery. Or a charity organization will arrange the national cemetery burial.

    I want to share a story..
    My uncle was in a war in Sri Lanka 30 something year ago. After few years one person come to my grandmas house and said he died. They never showed them him body. Now my mom works and everyday she hopes her brother comes there. Like he might be dead or he might of hit his head really hard and he cant remember anything so he is lying a life not remembering his before life.

      yeah he was very young! I’m 19 and gonna be 20 next week and it’s kinda sad that he was roughly my age when he passed away. He was extremely brave at the age of 18!

    I was just there over spring break in the US and it was a beautiful place. To see the walls of the people that died that day was heart breaking but also made me proud that we live in this country with such brave people.

    My father was in Pearl when it got hit. He was aboard the USS Phoenix. They were moored near the mouth of the harbor and got out during the attack. His stories of that day were chilling.

    I am very happy that we have identified one more person from the attack of Pearl Harbor it is sad that we did get attacked and lost a lot of people. I hope that everyone who has died in the attack has a nice rest in peace. As a person who lives on Hawai'i I do thank them for fighting back on the attack of Pearl Harbor.

    This reminds me of how the Vietnam War veteran who was previously interred in the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers was finally identified in 1998 and his remains were returned to his family in St. Louis, Missouri.
