Basic Android Programming (5/10) - Fragments and Dialogs. Fragments is a mini-Activity, a sub-division of an Activity. A fragment has a layout file and a Java code file - just like an Activity. Fragments are hosted by Activities. Fragments can be recycled across Activities. Dialogs are pop up windows that doesn't take up the whole screen.
