:) I use Psilocybin twice a year. I eat them raw, 100-150. The most amazing experience I had was when I meet a huge white cow in the forrest. She was so gentle, happy and wanted hugs🤗 🤗 I was standing in the woods hugging that lovely cow for about 30 min. I stopped eating meat after that.
😂! My bf was in a pasture down the road, looking for the right kind of mushrooms in the cow patties, and a great big white BULL got after him he barely made it back over the fence! 😂😂😂

There is a silly notion that we can alter our behavior with beneficial consequences. One behavior is killing other living things. Maybe if we try to stop, we can alter some consequences?
Not trying to tell anyone what is "right". But there are food choices we can make that can reduce our need for feed to be grown to raise livestock for human and "dog and cat" consumption too. If the corn and other grains we use as well as rangeland were reduced because of a large decrease in meat consumption, we could return places to their pre-farm state.
The concept is starting to catch on. Some places in England are retiring farmed and grazed lands permanently and selling them off in large parcels to conservation organizations and local management schemes.
An example is: Tarras Valley Nature Preserve. But there are a lot of others.

Every cattle rancher I have ever known has dogs...usually quite a few. And they all pretty much interact like those dogs and that cow do.

He’s not an ‘it’. He’s not an inanimate object. He is a living being. He thinks. He feels. He has likes and dislikes. He’s a bull. Like you said. He is someone. Not an ‘it’.
Cow is the species name, as well as a term for a female, the reverse of the way it is with lions. If someone says they saw a lion, and it was a lioness, they are correct. If they say they saw a lioness, and it was a male, they're wrong.
He may not be a bull either. If he's not being bred, he's most likely castrated, to prevent him going into rut, which makes large grazing animals EXTREMELY aggressive. This would make him a steer. It may just be simpler to call him a cow.
