    Is that a public lake? If so, can you tell me where it is? I live in the Mobile area and I've never seen that.

      It's a lake owned by USM in Hattiesburg

    The reason the spool is loose on your other reel is because you need to tighten the spool tension nob .. if that's loose it will cause backlash

    Good vid. I bought mine last year. I’m liking it alright especially the rod but I’m not getting as much distance on casts as I’m used to(I usually use spinning set ups like most people in the north) have any suggestions? What do you set your brakes to? Do you have any experience with higher end casting reels and do they preform better when it comes to distance?

      I would start by trying to re grease the bearings and see if that makes a difference. Its been awhile since I've had that rod out but I believe I have two of the brakes set on mine. As for the last question I do not. I am hoping to get a 13 fishing concept Z sometime in the future. (Need to become a better angler before that). If you have any other questions please let me know!

      How is I’m seriously thinking about getting the combo but people say the rod breaks easy is that true?

    You are casting with your right hand but have a left handed reel.

      No different than using a spinning reel

      Zack Wilson that’s the point. So u don’t have to switch hands

    • @outofAlog
      @outofAlog 6 лет назад

      Zack Wilson are you serious? You switch hands every time you cast to reel? Don’t that get annoying? That’s why they make L and R retrieve reels. If you cast right you reel left if you cast left you reel right, theoretically..... you’re the oddball buddy. Reeling is repetitive but working lures takes a finesse that most people have in the right hand.

      Ive always switched hands, its whats comfortable for you. Dont hate because its not how YOU do it.
