This toy globe has a better base and less complicated settings than the Odyssey II model (same with all the LeapFrog models). I have a Quantum Leap model with the purple base, yellow dial, different narrator, a few different sound effects (it lacks the bell sound effect, however), etc. I've had it since around 2005 and learned quite a lot from it over a decade ago, which is why I know all continents and oceans by heart. Although a lot of the population information is outdated, I still enjoy playing with it to this day! Nice demonstration video!

I remember we had a braille model of this at our library for the blind and in the braille room in my high school.
