It locks the device even when switching between the apps, is there a way to keep it unlocked unless the screen is locked once
Yes there's a way but it's less secure
No it can not be considered as app lock. Once u open screen lock, locked app will welcome the user.App is different thing my friend.
Unless you unlock the screen with "FaceID or Passcode" the app will NOT be accessible so technically it is an app lock
The only annoying thing is that it doesn't stay unlocked when You minimise the app
Minimize? Do you mean exit the app and run in the background?
When you minimize
People who use these features on an iPhone only have photos from the years20232024and onwards ONLY
