  • This study explains the 70 weeks prophecy of Daniel from the historical fulfilment perspective, refuting the Futurist, dispensationalist approach. The 70 weeks prophecy provides the most important chronological details of the coming of the Messiah, declared more than 500 years before the event, proving that Jesus Christ is the promised Messiah.

Good layout. easy following what you are saying with your presentation slide layouts.
Before I make some inquiries or get to my views, Just as feedback if I may.. perhaps number/keep those futurist dot points numbered to entice finer discussion around? (if you like to have those further in to your series, that makes it easier so as not to get lost with what points people agree or can allow for, and what and why they might disagree. If your target viewership is the believers of Christ, we can always agree to disagree agreeably/kindly as we can root out contendimg with any obvious ungodly oppositional forces).
Okay that aside.. may I just let you know Im personally not going to be bothered by your non-futurist understanding of Daniel 9. But please note you have left out verses 26 and 27 !
Also, following from the NKJV that I lean toward memorizing, the preceding v25 does itself set out a contradiction to that timeline chart.
Anyway.. nobody Iv heard recently to date (in online bible teaching posts anyway) has stepped back to walk through verse by verse of the entire chapter thst represented Daniel's prayer for 'his people' meaning specifically prophesying into natural Israel's future -- from the days of the marginalised existence of exiled jews under the assyrian empire in his days (persia, then roman babylon empire next, to the 7th then 8th beast conceptually if you are not full preterist, and can concede some things have not come to pass as yet lying in the future. Maybe even near future now)
Daniel 9:25 for the record actually calls out how there is the additional week (ie. hebrew based calendar years of some known rest/festival observance cycle) to add on to the first 62 weeks before Messiah's sacrifice, meaning 62+7 = ONLY 69 weeks accounted for there.
The 70th week is specifically mentioned in Daniel 9:27 (with reference to a Different v26 "prince who is to come" who will destroy and v27 "on the wing of abominations shall be that one who makes desolate" until all that God foreknows he will do in destruction is done). Our Messiah doesnt deal in abominations. So that is Not the Christ Messiah but a fake one who will come destroy. As you say these are Prophetic Weeks as perceived by Daniel and his God given futuristic visions (7 days = 7 years from earlier pre-established principles found in Ezekiel).
