- When a big mountain bike crash caused Eric to miss XTERRA Worlds, he set off on a California road trip while Paula went to race Augusta 70.3. In part 2 of this 2 part short film, Paula flew to Napa to join in on the fun. Wine tasting in Napa, cute coffee shops, camping along the cliffs of the California coast, and finally crossing into Oregon, this is what pro athletes do when the racing is done for the year.

Oh Eric what an exceptional story teller you have e become, your videos have reached a whole new level of utter brilliance, the last two videos have somehow captured my soul, and your words move my very being. an exceptional video with so on point music edit to match. This channel is now so much more than a simply triathlon channel its a metaphor for everything the people who watch them feel. they are simply beautiful stores which these days leave me speechless, You move my soul and very being. I am simply hanging on every word, beautiful visually and audibly. I am almost in tears. As for the always looking at things from a swim bike run prospective I think we all do that. My running shoes go everywhere with me, and the minute we are pulling up to a location or hotel I am already trying to work out run routes. It's that in between-time that counts too. Kitchy is cool-we love to stop by that crazy shop that ends up being so "curious". The people are nice. I'm signed up to "watch Indian Wells" race so I'm hoping you'll be there. "Just one more race this year, please"......
