When you tell your story, people tell you that she is your mum at the end of the day. These are scars we will take to our graves. Such traumas never heal no matter how much you want to forget. I tried many times to make peace with her but she was very hostile. Anyway I'm glad I was with her during her last days on earth and I remember one night she didn't want to stop talking to me. We talked and laughed the whole night mpaka asubuhi. May her soul rest in peace but hakunifanyia poa and I vowed never to mistreat my children.

Families are toxic, very very toxic. The traumas we carry, the love we yearn for but never get, being raised with guardians who are also not ok. Most of us including me we aren't proud of our families but we strive everyday. What I can say, choose you, choose yourself, fight for your life forget about family, or the ties you wish to have with them. Personally when I have a problem I just call God, whether it's tu curse, pray, shout I do it all to God. Make a relationship with God and above all seek therapy .

@@QueenAmanda254 same here he was a drunkard beat my mum always cursed us at any chance he gets he left when he was needed now his back broke sick my mum refused to take him back we are a bit well so me and my siblings tolerate him until we realized he never changed his now bitter that my mum is blessed he curses us at any chance he gets to make matters worse he always hangs around our business office with his bad attitude and some behaviors that pisses us off I regret welcoming him back in my life his even gets to my child with narcissistic questions..now am learning to heal all over again
