@@SolitariusLimbus what??? For me when i was about to the end of phase 3, the stagger before the cutscene i closed the game and it still registered as winning the fight when i resumed the dungeon
I see a lot of people talking about how this fight is hard, followed by a bunch people saying “yeah, healing egos help but it’s brutal” Fun fact: don is immortal until she’s the last one left - she fell to 1 hp several times where she should have died in my run Therefore, meat lantern don eating 6 one sided attacks to bodyguard a second strong unit makes this fight very doable
@@GameBooAdvancePlus I am not resistant to chain battles, I like this system. What people aren't fond of, is aoe unbreakable coins which inflict 6/6 bleeds, even if you break the coin. This is artificial difficulty, which also fails to work, due to heal egos being so good, especially fluid sac. Tell me this, your option 1 is doing fight "properly" and wasting plenty of extra turns taking chip dmg from aoe normal attacks, or option 2 you go with 1 unit and use the best defensive skill type in the game to completely shit on the boss and then do 2 rip spaces, thanks to multicrack cliff passive?
@@KyKiske97 I would do the fight properly because its more fun. If you bring backup sinners then its super easy to brute force the fight anyway. It starts out difficult but gets easier as it progresses because Sancho gets more buffs and Don gets less aggressive. People who lose a sinner and immediately restart don't know this, but if you had backup sinners you can just keep going and eventually win. Speedrunner logic is not an acceptable argument, unless you find speedrunning fun (I don't).
@@GameBooAdvancePlus this fight doesn't even start hard, coming after the sancho fight its pretty damn easy to succeed, the only thing that you gotta worry about the entire fight is not bleeding out from chip dmg aoes, which as I stated is not fun, nor interactive. If you think otherwise, feel free to stand on that hill till the end. Managing to clear the fight as a solo is less of a speedrun thing and more of a general flex, if you did it day 1 when people didn't realise how much easier it is this way. Due to avoiding the only threat of the fight.

If you're asking why its like that I think it's just their own version of the iconic scene from the source material where Don Quixote charges at the windmills thinking they were giants.
Yeah that's right, the team selection right before the final boss just greys out the save team button if you have LCB Don selected which forces you to use one of her other IDs.

This is a common argument for Chain Battle, but the way it was done was a bit mid, only empowering what was already strong (Damage > Clashing, Evade > Other Defensives).
I had actually ended up doing the BL Don one because I couldn't be bothered to try and either shard WDON or struggle with the unbreakable coin spam. It had taken me a bit but it was really fun! Surprisingly if you simply dodge the boss and use electric screaming + envy res you can essentially heal to the maximum and refund your sp. Plus it's just funny to realize that BL Don gains poise count like a generator

@@KnakuanaRka With W Don solo, you beak the unbreakables with your first 5 skills, then use your last skill slot as a dodge on the first skill of the enemy, but make sure to still clash it first, since the coin power lowers to 1 on unbreakables when shattered
Sancho took me a while to beat with my bleed team, but soloing Don with W Corp was almost braindead easy (I'm glad I sharded her just in case). I have Meat Lantern, but I don't usually use her so I'm not used to the rhythm. With W Corp, you just clash the bloodfiend fodder for sanity, make sure to have an evade up, multiple just in case, ensure charge is good before Ripping Space, and you're golden.
I wonder why you can't use Base ID Don for this. Is it because at that time she doesn't have Rocinante(?) that's why she have to use IDs that still have them. Then I do wonder, what if you don't have any Don's ID during this.
@@Nelland iirc, game gives you in Support tab all Don 000s at IV Uptie and IV EGOs (so you can try out new WAW before finishing the Battlepass) instead of actual support IDs from friends
Could you rate from easiest to hardest Don to solo with in this bossfight? I am curious, for example, if Middle Don is easier to solo with thanks to the bleed healing or the evades are more powerful.
If you want an actual don solo, not "The New WaW EGO solo", W-Corp is probably the strongest. Lots of coins to make use of Don's unique buff, and has an evade. But if you abuse ego, I think it's not really an issue for any ID. Base Don still, probably, the hardest.

I would say that Cinq and Meat Lantern were the easiest since I was able to do so much damage I could just ignore the mechanics of the fight. W-Corp is next, then Shi / Blade Lineage, mainly because they all have evades which lets you avoid the unbreakable coins and the forced stagger. Then T-Corp, Middle, and N-Corp in that order, the only challenge with them is doing enough damage to skip the forced stagger since they can't evade, but saving up S3s for a high damage turn was usually enough to get through (plus the EGO if damage wasn't good enough).
W Yi-Sang, Seven Faust, Seven Ryoshu, W Meursault, TT Hong Lu, R Heathcliff, Zwei West Ishmael, LCB Rodya, Talisman Sinclair, G Outis, Zwei Gregor. In the end though, the only passive that really mattered was talisman Sinclair, everything else is optional.
@@luxi5875 u can still solo with lantern don and skip Horse phase without bench talisclair like me,u just need to maintain the rupture count (around 20+ potency and 4-6 count i every turn was enough ig,if the count was lower than that,try to use s2 more and s3 if avaible).plus with bench passive that increase dmg like base rodya and tt hong (u can try bench base ryo or shi heath if u dont have tt hong but its more risky since it also increase ur dmg taken)

Thank god, this is going to help so much; that boss absolutely slaughtered me first time, but a solo with W looks like it should work.
It will work, just dont clash unbreakables so you wont bleed to death. Also try to fit bench passives to W don

Iirc the game let's you use the support feature to choose a Don ID (and all of them are uptie 4 cuz of the dungeon mechanics)
