Thanks for the review Dave! This helped a lot in trying to decide which microphone was for me. I personally went for the A8 for an admittedly non-audio related reason; it was just so I could turn off the RGB 😆. I initially had the A6V to save a couple bucks, but returned it because the lights got really distracting after a while. But man, you can’t go wrong with these mics either way! The sound quality for the price is just crazy.
A6V sounds so much better at close range than the A8. Even though A8 is newer and it has a few adjustments (like turning off rgb light and the jack option under the mic) its not as good as A6V. Like does 2:58 sounds better than 3:33 or am i just stupid ?
@@DaveSoltura Im not a huge microphone geek but for me it personally sounds like the A6V has higher definition. like when you say the letter p or f in a sentence it sounds amazing. for example the letter p in your sentences at 2:59 compared to 4:47 , the first is much better. also the a6v microphone is louder, while the a8 seems like its more silent. I just bought the A6V after this review and i hope i made the right choice lol.
@@matahalah Appreciate your thoughts! They're actually very, very close. Mic placement, distance, and gain have a big impact on the final sound-- even a 1-inch difference, or being 10 degrees off axis can make one mic sound better than the other. Honestly, you can't go wrong with either. The right choice is the choice that works for you! :)
Thank you for this useful video, but I have a question: Can this microphone be connected to the phone via an OTG connection? For your information, my phone is HUAWEI Y9 PRIME 2019. I hope for a response.❤
I used to connect Usb mics to my Huawei mate 20 pro from 2019, all the time. Should be possible with a usb c to usb c cable. I’ve also had success with otg in the past but can’t guarantee it for your situation.
Yes! It’s quite low on the list, but now you’ve mentioned it, I’ll bump them up! Already recorded one with the K669b vs the A6v. That should come out early Jan at the latest.
can u suggest mic btw fifine a6v vs a8 because a6v have 24bit 192k sample rate and a8 have only 16bit 48k, a8 expensive than a6v why they provide only 16 bit 48k sample rate according to you which one is better and what you suggest
Hi! Thanks for leaving a comment. Hmm interesting... Where did you find the 24bit 192k A6v? The Fifine website does say it's 16bit 44.1kHz only. fifinemicrophone.com/products/fifine-ampligame-usb-microphone
Please provide a bit more details like if it's saw by your computer? Was it chosen as the default input? Was the volume turned up? Or you just want to hear the mic sound when you spoke to the mic, like it's for karaoke?
@@Badmoshhub If your room maintains a quiet ambiance, the preferable choice would be A6V. In situations where external sounds, such as passing cars or barking dogs, infiltrate your room's tranquility, it would be advisable to opt for DGM20.
Are you considering the A8, or the A6v?😁
i already bought the a8 so im asking you will i return and buy a6v or not according to you which one is the best

got the A6V, pretty happy with it
Great choice!
4:30 "Entry level professional" got me curious, Is this still true for the A8 one year later?

Hi im just wondering which is best that can capture audio clearly even when far away?
It's better not to consider any desktop mic then, consider something like the shotgun mics or the wireless lav mics.
The asmr part tho 😂

Not sure about compatibility, but both sound great out of the box!

I’m getting a8 please tell me will it last longer for years I’m a gamer I use laptop to stream my consoles Are you there brother
I can’t make guarantees they’ll last that long.
a8 has clarity like costly mics(I Heard its beat Rode nt 1) but is a6 more downgrade of this or a lil bit???
Are you really sure that a8 beat rode nt 1? My dream microphone nt 1a but i don't have the budget
A6v vs dgm20?
Me also looking for it if u got answer please tell me
A6v has a slight sound quality advantage, but it’s debatable. Dgm20 has active noise cancellation, which is a first in budget mics.
