Heya, Hope You All Enjoyed this one. I hope too cover more TMNT stuff in the near future, since i just really love this franchise. But what did you all think of these two games and which TMNT games should i cover in the enar future?? >:3
You should cover the 2007 movie tie in game it's actually pretty solid of course I haven't played it in almost a decade so maybe it's not as good as I remember it
In regards to the 4Kids stuff, I still stand by the 2003 TMNT being my personal favorite. I’ve also been liking the original Yu-Gi-Oh despite some of the stupid censorship (which I’ve gone out of my way to personally fix on a few occasions, mainly the finger guns). Sonic X is also okay, but I much prefer the Uncut fan edit that’s floating around. Haven’t seen Kirby, but might be interested, especially if there’s a similar fan edit.
It's like the only show from 4kids that wasn't overly kid friendly or a garbage dub the closest to it was Sonic X and that has not aged anywhere near as well as TMNT 03
FOX Box was an absolute blast. Now as for the TMNT game, I think it's one of the best looking licensed games for it's time. It still holds up pretty well. And I really enjoyed this game as a kid, it's been a really long since I played though
I was born in 2002. Grew up watching 4Kids in some of the network's last years with that name in the late 2000s and into the year 2010. Sonic X and the later seasons of '03 Turtles were my life back then, along with the other stuff they aired like Kirby, Winx Club, Chaotic, Yu-Gi-Oh, Cubix, etc.
I fondly remember all the 4Kids content! And the '03 TMNT GBA game was my first video game! I'm only 23, but your video gave me a huge wave of nostalgia, haha.
I used to dread the boss fight with Giant Nano. He’s difficult to hit and he has a ton of health. He can sweep and stomp on you or grab and throw you from far away. He can also shoot a shockwave from a distance or use an AOE explosion if you get too close to him. If that wasn’t enough, he also gets faster the more you damage him, so if you’re anywhere on the ground he’ll start to rush you down. The only real way to beat him is to jump attack him to death, which can be difficult depending on the turtle you’re using.
The memories are flowing back! My family and I used to play this on the Gamecube. We had so much trouble with fighting the Foot Mystics (mostly because we had no coordination as a team). Weirdly enough, I recall all four people being able to play. Maybe it was Battle Nexus?
4:08 The audio is great, especially with Raph (for me) consistently having some of the best lines in the game. No one has said "no way" better than that confrontation with Shredder. Which of course has the epic final boss theme and "true" final boss theme that is somehow more epic. I'm surprised you didn't mention the presentation more specifically, as it is pretty darn solid overall. I'll say, the best thing about playing the game 4 times is that the leadup to the "true" final boss is made to feel a bit more different. First starting with that animated cutscene that would normally play over an in-game version, to the confrontation itself at the end. Leading up with some iconic music for the credits sequence, but that's for every story. :) 7:07 I was thinking the same thing with Sonic Heroes, though you could've added that the stories in that game are distinct to make the campaigns feel different. In this game, the most notable differences with the story are with the specific bosses that the specific turtles face. Which (intentional or not) is nice that the specific bosses that the certain turtles face seem to be based on the theme song. At the point when you see a specific turtle face over a clip, such as Leo for Splinter.
I personally never really liked the first game of the trilogy. As you said, it's cool and fun but just the first time. The levels are too long and repetitive, and the bosses/enemies can get very frustrating to fight against (or even unfair). The second and third game are were it gets good. The third especially is the first one but ten times better. So I really suggest you to check them out if you want.
i remember me and my brother had this game on pc and we beat it all but he beat it with only splinter and he beat the whole game but it was on our old pc but if i play it again i would be happy
This video was super cool, tmnt on the gba is so much fun! And personally I'd love to see videos about other tmnt games and content, would be pretty cool
@@iammrchillgaming1118 Nano boss was never much of an issur for me since this game was probably the first one I've ever played but the later levels with the ant like creatures get stupid hard
I remember getting this for the GameCube along with need for speed underground but after two years the disc became scratched and so I only had the GBA version but in 2008 i picked up a ps2 and got this game and after watching your review I'm definitely replaying it
The voice acting for the 4Kids was never an issue. The voice cast for most of those shows were made up of many accomplished veterans of the voice acting industry and it showed. It's a shame that so many of the New York and LA voice actors aren't heavily involved in anime dubbing anymore. Even the Canadians are out for the most part. Now it's just the Texans from Funimation, and they seem to just hire any randy off the street nowadays.
Please cover more tmnt games like maybe cover the ones not included in the cowabunga collection so that way people know what they can't play with the collection

the perfect way to describe yu gi oh is a great voice cast but bad script
Me and my brother love this game, this game is the best and definitely deserves a remake.
Plus people need to make more 2 player games

Thanks for mentioning the awesome music of this game. Literally my first video game I got as a kid.

All of the 2003 episodes have also been uploaded to RUclips and are stable, apparently
I grew up with the game boy advanced version, and it’s one one my favorite games of all time. So much nostalgia.
i grew up on both of these, so many memories i am fond of. glad you did these games justice with your rant.

I wish Shredder's Revenge was called Shredder's Shrevenge.
6:54 here’s a tip someone passed onto me, when you get knocked down like that quickly press the jump button and you’ll get right back up

I'd be interested in seeing you cover the two sequels, Battle Nexus and Mutant Nightmare. It'd be fun to see you cover them.
Used to play this game about 7 years ago, asked my older brother about it and he found it in 5 minutes after i took an hour to find it
2:11 Same thing for me too XD🥲

This game was hardcore as fuck
no joke! took me years to beat it 100%. That damn nano boss...

@@iammrchillgaming1118 Respect. Dark souls is my favourite game franchise yet I didn't manage to beat this game yet lol
@@kirop7 I wish you luck. Dark Souls is hard as hell
Great video sadly never played a TMNT game but oh boy the 2012 era was rough in terms of turtles

Tmnt 2003 is my favorite video game. While i agree with you. I can always replay the game and never get bored

The music is giving me soul eater vibes
My ranking of the best turtles in this game.

2: Donatello
3: Leonardo
4: Raphael
We need this game for Nintendo Switch 😭
I grew up with the 2003 game on ps2. I'm surprised you didn't mention the voice lines. They're hella obnoxious
My biggest problem with this game was it was only 2-Players smdh it's should've been 4-players from jump.💯💯💯
