1:53, I just want to add a quote from Bishop Barron, where he quotes Isaiah, I think Isaiah 26:12 "LORD, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us. "
Is this the general Orthodox approach? This was done 5 years ago. Would you still agree with this? Thanks for your channel. It has been a real help! God bless.
I gave a quick listen and it honestly sounds good. It does not get into distinctives about the sixth ecumenical council and Orthodox antropology--but its a good primer for Protestants where a deep dive into Orthodox original sin is too academic. I am grateful that I recorded a bunch of stuff soon after my conversion. I was cognizant that in time I'd lose my "Protestantese" and would no longer be able to speak like a Protestant and hence lose my capacity to explain things on their level forever.

There is a similarity, though the Orthodox have a different view of grace due to the energy-essence distinction, but to be honest I am not aware of all the creedal views of Lutheranism. It has been years since I read the Ausberg Confession.
