This seems to be a smaller version of Suite Modale for Flute and Orchestra by Bloch.

Hovhaness always reminds me flute sound in high note. That's why flute sound the best.
It's no version at all of the Suite Modale but an entirely different piece.
I meant in feeling. I think Bloch may have been looking west out over the Pacific Ocean here also. This is low in ANGST. High in happy contemplation.
