YOUR votes are in. The Grand prize winner of the #FuturGOTChallenge is... Kento Yoshida! This guy showed up to every challenge with multiple entries that were always solid. Congrats for taking the lead with 15 total points from all 3 rounds. Also, shout out to the runner ups, it was a very close race: Lillian Figeroa, Newton Llorente, Jason Tucker, and Kendra Willford. Thank you, everyone, who participated and grew from the experience. What kind of challenge should we do next?
Thanks, everyone for submitting and joining the stream. Vote here to crown the winner of round 1 of 3: 1.shortstack.com/TRrwck Stay tuned on this channel for the winner announcement, and for the next challenge. If you didn't advance or missed the first challenge, don't fret. The two other challenges will be more difficult and will allow you to gain more points.
Oh boy oh boy. I hate I missed the first challenge but I just watched this whole stream. I definitely want to join in on the next challenge! Stoked! I’m an animator/illustrator/designer.
Absolutely LOVE Adrian Sy's design. I don't know how well it fits the GoT theme, but the overall execution is really well done. Modern, Simple, Refined, Memorable.
Just want to say, great designs by everyone! 👍👍👍 I knew who was going to win the House Martell one. After I submitted mine, I saw that one and already knew 😂
Cool breakdown of these designs. Fair critique as well! If you hover your mouse over the timeline of the video, it shows you stills of the video in a very small format as a "preview". It can give you an interesting perspective of what these designs would look like from far away. In my opinion, very few, if any, actually look good in that perspective and none actually capture the GoT feel. Just my opinion though, great job regardless to the designers!
Is not that i don t like the designs, i think that a lot of them are really great and would make great logos. Is just that most of them don't inspire me at all the atmosphere of the show...of that time in the past. Too modern and simplified or too complicated, or even from a different mythology(the japenese dragons). Of course is very hard if not impossible to compete with the original ones but i expected something else.
Congrats to the top 5! Great job guys! I didnt make the cut but this was a lot of fun. Thanks @thefutur and @chrisdo for the challenge. I made a case study for my submission if anyone wants to check it out: www.behance.net/gallery/77017119/Game-Of-Thrones-Challenge-Provided-by-The-Futur
A little upset I didn't even get to have mine critiqued :/ and I expected the top 5 to be what the public voted for but those were random. Oh well, next challenge please...

I don't know what happened but Kento's design isn't in the voting options
@@goddini Good catch! I fixed it!

VOTE FOR THE KRAKEN!!!
13:50 what I like about this one is that horns formed a human face and horns curl the face and look like a king helmet this is so cool

Great designs by every one. Loved the contest. I did the house arryn sigil .
@8:13 I'm not sure why, but the yellow background and less aggressive looking deer reminds me of the "Caution Deer Crossing" signs. Or Moose.
Hey chris it's aaron gross! The loop in the tail was actually a reference to the original one, the sigil from the show has a loop
thanks for clarifying Aaron!
Some great work there, love Jess browns. Shame my favourite of the designs didn’t make it onto the show
Sorry. Don’t worry about the results. Just keep learning and growing.

happiness is inversely proportionate to expectations.
@@TheFuturAcademy So true. But i can t tell to a client something like this. Especially not after i pitched him how wonderful my process and work is.
This was really fun and informative! What ever did happen to Kento??
Was it not allowed to make shadows? because I think it would have made the designs better if they had used shadows to illustrate parts of the design.
awww that game thrones hum at the end got cut it was gold haha
It’s possible that John smiths version had the moon on the bottom to represent the moon door. 🤷♀️
worth a shot.
great great i love it

great attitude and effort John.
How often do you do this challenges and how can I enter?
Next one will drop next week.
VOTA POR EL KRAKEN!!!
I'm sorry but it needs to be said that the design shown around the 33 min mark is a blatant ripoff of the wolfenstein logo

William Wiehe lots of entries to review. The top 50 the public chose. We picked the top 5. Not random at all. Thanks for participating though.
Mes que un club!
