Your in-depth riding review of the new Classic 350cc has sold me on the usability of this motorcycle even on busy UK roads. Hopefully, it will be available here before too long. I found your riding technique engaging, if from a UK perspective, a little scary.

Has this new classic little bit of cruising comfort?

Very good review. I took a test ride on the 350 Classic this morning and loved it, the handle bars the seat and width of the tank for your knees was just right. I found the front suspension to be way better than the old Classic 500 I had, goes round bumpy corners very well. Anyway, after the test ride I bought a red and chrome Classic 350 and have a 10 - 14 day wait.

The bill that the showroom has given me does include the price of the alloy wheels in the ex-showroom price but in the MIY part alloy wheel is not mentioned but sump guard has been mentioned.
Can u help me out by saying if it is ok or not?
Showroom says there is no issue the bike will come equipped with alloy wheels.

    Great review .
I waited for a year after release to make sure reliability and any issues were sorted out.
My last Enfield was a 1967 250 GT Continental.
Why did I go from a Kawasaki Vulcan VN900 to the classic 350.
    Soul and character.
Im bored with modern mode infested plastic machines.
Yes super fast and full of tech
But the aesthetics are mind numbingly bland

A very good report. I have a Royal Enfield Interceptor Chrome and it is fantastic! Unfortunately with a lot of plastic and ugly direction indicators. And ugly rear shocks. But a very, very fine machine . The motorcycle tested is historically more accurate. I have little to say about it. This version with 500 cc and 30 hp etc, is the one that will/can follow up the Interceptor. What beautiful bikes you build in India! Kind regards Kobus the Netherlands , 😁👍👋

Almost went for the 650 myself but ended up with the classic red and chrome 350.
Both are super bikes and they make the usually techno bikes around currently all look really bland.
Most of my riding is back roads and town hence the 350 choice.
And i just love the chrome finish which im adding to
Rear long solo rack and stainless crash bar .
      Happy trails friend.

A good morning! Yes, life has surprises sometimes. I had bought 💷 2000 nice, replacement parts for the Interceptor. Two days later I passed out. Turns out I have a benign tumor in my head. Medication and no riding a motorcycle for half a year 😝. But will be fine. I have to be patient. I now regularly watch the beautiful Enfield and hope for better times. We'll keep riding, until the bitter end, my friend! enjoy every second in life 🤓👋

Chrome bronze is good choise color
Because red chrome is more flashy and punchy, but on the meter console u get bronze color not black,
    And here
Apko red chrome ke sath black color milta hai so chrome bronze me bhi hona chahiye tha.

What about cooling, it's an air cooled bike. During long rides, does it feel rough after some time, and is it safe for the engine too. As in liquid cooled bikes we don't have to worry about the engine and it's components. Royal Enfield uses oil cooler in Himalayan and Interceptor, but why not in it?

Planning to buy RE for the first time, please help on the below doubts..
    1. While cornering or taking sharp turns does the riding position/wheel base of Meteor 350 make a difference as compared to the Classic350?
    2. In the part where where you rode on the uneven road, will the Meteor 350 have any advantage considering the riding position and foot pegs which are slightly ahead or it will be a less comfortable ride?
    3. In a ghat section will Classic 350 have a comfortable ride or the Meteor?

Classic will be better for long term comfort. The foot up and front position will make u to sit full on your glutes, which very less weight on ur leg. So any bumps will feel directly on spine. So for bad roads like India , classic is better than meteor

I’m in two minds between this and the interceptor 650. My riding is typically in the city and just weekend short rides for now. Maybe I’ll start doing a bit of touring but currently I don’t. I have a bullet 350 standard right now kick start only and I want a machine which is more refined and can comfortably hold cruising speeds of 100kmh+. For the interceptor my only concern is the in city use and the heating up otherwise I definitely like that bike more and think it would be a proper upgrade on my current bike while classic will also be an upgrade definitely with this new engine but I’m just worried I hope not to find myself lacking a bit of power. Which do you recommend?

    • @Lee-70ish
      @Lee-70ish Год назад

Around town the 350 is king
Back roads both do a teriffic job.
      Motorways ?
      Inside lane 55-60mph 350 is fine .
But if you want to chew out the miles quickly the 650 obviously is way better.
For me I went with the 350 as I do 90% country road and town riding with occasional tour.
Both however are fabulous bikes but I do find the classic 350 to have more soul and character.
      Thats totally chilled to ride.
