But after a nasty grade 2 hamstring tear in mid September 2023 (50+ year olds should never play competitive sport!!) they came into their own this season. Really made movement on the water possible during that recovery. By December was taking on some more ambitious trips and thanking heaven for them!! Brilliant video from two legends. Thanks mate!

Thanks for your kind thoughts. On the NT11 rods, I've not seen reviews saying that, and on the contrary, they load superbly in close having a lovely progressive action. They're the best rod I've personally used. Also they won best mid-priced rod in the Yellowstone 5wt Shootout which said it stood up to most of the high priced rods
