I seriously love this song so very much!!! Easily one of my favorite bands and this song in particular makes me wish I knew how to swing dance ahaha! I love how much emotion is in the singing and tempo increase, so much energy! Thank you for all these beautiful songs, they always give me a lot of creative energy ahaha! Much love and hope you all take care! ✨💜
I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's just 1950s type 'names'. Fat Jack would probably refer to a Mafia boss/member, and Lucky Lucy might be his wife
@@thatoneguy5205 Lucky Lucy sounds like a gambler's luck or something like that. Songs usually have a deeper meaning. So a fat jack would be a depression or something like that. If it's about a person with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder idk what would that make the 6 count swing tho.
@@Bata600 the 6 count swing is a type of dance. If you listen, he's talking about a dance/ball, and meeting this girl. It doesn't have anything to do with mental issues
@@thatoneguy5205 Yeah, as I just said. Great songs usually have an obvious meaning and a deeper "true meaning". This song scratched me different when he said "I see the way you want to go in this world, the time does not matter - staying young (as in forever being young/not aging/being dead) is getting old (getting old as in it's passe, it's not in, not good)." Then he says "shut the suicide doors, don't ya dare look back". The rest just fits in.
One of the most underrated songs I’ve ever heard.
