I don’t know much about Japanese Bonsai swords, but your comment gives me a lift! Consider this - To prove longevity, I told the neurologist my mother lived to be 101. He replied, “My mother was 108!” That set me back on my heels. HA!
Many, many people live to 100 and beyond today. For me, it's all about quality. As long as my physical and mental health are good RELATIVE TO MY AGE, I have no issue with living beyond 100.

Ah, dear Granny Pat...it is so good to be back listening to your wonderful stories!! My hubby of almost 55 years passed away in June. In the span of two weeks I lost him and moved to a smaller apt here in the same building. Then it took 3 weeks to get my internet back up and running! My grandma was my life, loved her so much and you look so much like her and you are just as sharp as she was when she passed at 94 thirty years ago. My mom is 86 with Alzheimer’s and I’ve cared for her 24/7 for the past six years and is no longer able to share memories so you bring me a sense of peace on this difficult journey. I remind myself that if she has to go through this awful disease I have to be strong enough to go through it with her❤ I love your response to a doctor asking our weight 😂. I have an appointment coming up and going to try that one and I’d settle for 175 😂
You are doing what so many of us could not, and would not do, with the love and patience it takes. Dementia and Alzheimer’s does not run in my family. We have lost several to the unbearable pain of cancer. We take it as it comes.

Plus some people put relish in it, not for me though. I dice up bit of red or sweet onion and salt and pepper.. That's it... Miracle Whip, diced red or sweet onion and salt and pepper. I have had objection to my reading, even when it was poetry! I want to please everyone. If I get approval by a majority, I would love to read some of my short stories that would be more impressive than trying to repeat them verbally. Thanks for the question.
