Hey, I bought one of your moukey VA-1 amps on your Etsy. I read a review after I bought it about having to take it apart. Do you have a tutorial over how to do that? I don’t want to cause an error since I’m not familiar with wiring and stuff. I am going to buy the i9 as well for voice changing. What else would I need to buy to allow for the two to work together without error? Is there any connectors I need? I appreciate your videos and help btw. Thank you.
I’d put the instructions in the listing description but here they are: DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS: You’ll need a small skinny Phillips screwdriver and an xacto blade or something similar. Some folks may benefit from using some magnifying glasses (I use these amzn.to/4dTef2N). Unscrew the back in 4 spots, open it up. Then carefully cut through the red glue on the plugs for the speaker and battery, if you want to disconnect them from the circuit board. Then carefully pull them out. If the white connector pulls off the board don’t stress, just ensure you see which side points which way so you can ensure you put it back on correctly so you don’t invert the polarity; when you put it back on do it slowly so you don’t bend the pins on the board. Then if you want to pull out the speaker, use a blade to carefully cut the glue around the speakers edges; then use a small tool like a skinny flathead screwdriver to lightly and slowly pry up the speaker until the glue starts pulling away, Then unscrew the 2 screws holding in the circuit board. Done. DISASSEMBLY VIDEO: Here’s how I did it for my Mando install: ruclips.net/video/yPGlVtBoNYg/видео.html&si=uxoMGcOEs2UJ3SnQ Handling the board is quite forgiving but careful when it’s on don’t get too handsy to avoid shorting anything out. I recommend painting the board to both protect it and help it blend in to your gear. ensure the battery is disconnected from it, prime it first. the. paint it as desired. definitely do not skip priming if adding a metallic paint, or you risk shorting it out.

@@creative-stuff thank you so much I appreciate you
No soldering required.. then goes and solders the wires together with a solder heat shrink.
Came to say the same thing, if the box says "SOLDER seal wire connectors", then you ARE soldering
should really be "no manual soldering" not no soldering. cause he's not using a soldering iron or equivalent, but he is still soldering.
