I love that young people are styling their homes with real antiques. It is beautiful ❤
Everything is lovely…my favourite find is the beautiful red/white transfer wear sugar bowl! I enjoy using them all year round…I don’t change up my decor according to seasons as such…celebrating Jesus at Christmas is the only time I specifically add the nativity, green tree, carollers, etc. …absolutely no Santa, reindeer, and other secular flavours….

Man some of those thrift store prices are staggering! Ours have been getting quite high in prices too...some things are as much as they would be at an antique store, it's wild.

I loved the bridal picks you chose, as well as the tassels, red transferware, and best of all- the etched silverplate "toothpick holder" WONDERFUL LITTLE ANTIQUE PIECE!!! Sorry about your fall. I went sledding down my deck face down one winter. You found some nice items. You need to invite some friends over for afternoon tea and use the plate rack.
I would have bought the brass champagne bucket for $12. My local thrift has one that was $25, now marked down to $20 but I've always had $12 in my head as the price that I'll pull the trigger 🤣 they've had it at least a year already 😒

I fell backwards down about six to eight stairs while putting up Christmas decorations. I handled the falling ok but the landing and hitting my head against the door hurt somewhat. I was carrying too much and leaned a little backwards and…Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. Glad you are ok. Beautiful little Bible!

Margo Roth Iam a subscriber and past month went to Winston-Salem to ck all the thrift store she goes, because here in Charlotte is difficult some times, things for my hauls and for my home. And I hit the jackpot. You had a good haul. The tassel, sugar trans, the rack. That Champagne bucket was a steal. 💗🌹

Your plate holder looks so pretty - the silver "toothpick holder" may be a child's cup. I have a similar one that belonged to my grandmother.

My dearest Danielle friend of RUclipss, I absolutely adored your shop with you and haul, and of course the added treat of seeing your beautiful finds styled. I felt compelled to tell you about potential lead being in some of the kitchenware pieces that you may or may not own. I recently became aware that one of my prized finds from maybe a year or so ago does indeed have lead in it. I was devastated.....I've been serving all kind of side dishes to my whole family (including two young children) from it. Thankfully a lot of my other vintage plates/cups were free of lead so I guess they were from the 80's. But, still anyway, I just thought I'd let ya know, in case you didn't already know....to just be careful? The lead testing kits are on Amazon. You just use a swab and white vinegar and rub the item in question. Anyway, I'm also so glad you're okay after your tumble down the stairs, I would have been so terrified as well. I do not use any of the things I bring home for this reason! Plates, cups, silverware…I just set them out for decor. Thank you for telling me though! I should order a testing kit just to be aware.
